The Takeover

Comment Up

Kevin D. Thompson writes, "The $64,000 question is this — what should Lake Worth do with its prized beachfront property? The city is basically back to square one with the casino after city commissioners in October rejected Hudson Holdings’ plan to develop the property." Kevin further states, "The city is still trying to figure out what to do with the Lake Worth Casino, its prized beachfront property."

What do you mean that we are back to square one? What do you mean that the city is trying to figure out what to do? We already DID something...spent $13 million just 3 years ago on a total renovation and redevelopment. Nothing needs to be done at our beach property...NOTHING.

Contributor to incumbents has another idea?
Will there be a pay-back moment?

Here is an idea. Why don't they just fix the flaws in the Casino building and leave the rest alone.

What the F*** is wrong with the Palm Beach POST!?!?!?!?! Has Kevin Thompson been to our beach??? I'm sure he hasn't. If he had been to our beach he would know that every inch of it has been developed and landscaped!!!!! What is he TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!?!?

He is once again towing the party line for the gang of 3 and Hudson Holdings. He sees only what he is told to see. Their editorial board is pretty much just an advertising board for wealthy developers. Where else can you get ocean front property for free and free advertising in the newspaper under the guise of ?news. Wonder what Kevin knows that we are not privy to.

What's he talking about?? He's just another paid advertisement.

He's obviously too lazy to get the other side of any of the stories he writes about.
His editors let him get away with his pro-incumbent pro-developer stance.
He is so new to the community that he is totally unaware of any of the history of the beach and writes as is Lake Worth was chartered as a city when he arrived.

The Palm Beach Post is nothing but a fish wrapper and Mr Thompson knows and cares nothing about LW, sleepwalk journalism.

what a bunch of angry saps. Your best commission screwed up the casino development and now it has to be fixed. Deal with the disappoint more appropriately.
