This will all happen, it has been in the talks for a few years now, it will happen, with maxwell and rice in the mix, they are so greedy and corrupt, they do not care about our park or nature. They only care about the almighty dollar. You can trust them, I don't, they have been bad news for our city for many years, what they are doing is not going to be good at all. Say no, vote no, and protest as much as you can, I am afraid it is a done deal. So sad!

John Prince Park is in unincorporated Palm Beach County. It is not in The City of Lake Worth. If anyone wants to advocate for or against the issue, that is his/her right as a resident of Palm Beach County. The County Commissioners will be the ones voting on the issue. There are a multitude of aspects to be considered before any decision is made.
Ok I know this may be a little far out there but why don't we wait and see how many jobs and how much revenue the other ball park training field makes, before we jump in and spend all the money and ruin John Prince Park and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Not kidding you. Just smart thinking. The previous ball park in West Palm Beach did not bring in the money they thought it would. It is seasonal at best. Go to the new one being built and sing your heart out dear.

Can't do anything with the golf course except use as a golf course... It's deed restricted and would revert back to the previous owner if any other use is undertaken.

Lynn, are your panties in a wad? Please reach down and pull the scrunch out of your tight ass... Maxwell is a commissioner in Lake Worth-duh. Nothing about John Prince Park would come up as a vote in front of the City Of Lake Worth. Therefore it is not out of the sunshine for him or anybody else outside of the county commissioners to have a meeting of any sort with an investor in greater Palm Beach County .

Scott has nothing to do with this is pure unadulterated bullchit. Where the hell do you think he got that huge amount of campaign contributions? Quid pro quo: you cross my palm, I arrange public park land for whateveryouwant. I chit on any law I want and I get what I want. And I wanna play ball so I could care less what any residents in my area want. I'm a big leaguer now. I can buy off the IG and I just bet I'm big enough now to buy off anyone I need to. That's how I run and why I can schedule a victory party at expensive places way before any vote. And I have plenty of my minions to tear you down including your panties at my command.
