Drive by and see this beautiful Bougainvillea cultivated into a tree in the 400 block of North A Street.

This is a beauty! You know, you just reminded me of something, with A and Bougainvillea. I always wished that Lake Worth would change their lettered street names to flowering plant and shrub names, like B Street could be Bougainvillea or A could be Azalea, I am sure we could come up with a flowering plant for each letter of the alphabet up to M Street, I think they would be nicer names than the letters. What do you think Lynn?

I absolutely LOVE that idea. Alphabet streets are a part of our history that really have no other significance other than our forefathers lack of imagination.

I say if Herman Robinson can go in and request a name change on his section of 'O' Street, then maybe we all can do it. It's not that simple, however...maybe even impossible.

Glad you like this tree. It is really something as it is in full bud.
