A Bark & Bowl event is taking place tonight, Friday, May 18th, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in support of the South Florida Chapter of the National Canine Cancer Foundation. This is a fundraiser for canine cancer research.
I have had dogs for 40 years until I moved back to this condo. My toy Poodle, Buttons, died of cancer. It was terribly sad to see this sweet little dog get this disease. Until Buttons, I was not even aware that dogs got cancer but as it turns out, canine cancer affects one out of every three dogs. Of those, over half of them will die of cancer. The South Florida chapter of The National Canine Cancer Foundation is asking for your help to fund important research grants that are working towards improving those statistics.
The Bark and Bowl provides direct donation toward specific grants that target canine cancer research. Join them in the fight against canine cancer! Your pup would do it for you.
