Neighbors Helping Neighbors

And speaking of homelessness, Robert Waples and his not-for-profit Neighbors Helping Neighbors, does a tremendous service within our community by helping folks who can't help themselves. There are a lot of wonderful people who live in our city who volunteer on a regular basis, giving back and never expecting even a "thank you." There is another project coming up this Saturday.

Robert says,

"This coming Saturday we have a Paint Your Heart Out event at 1611 Crest Drive in Lake Osborne Estates.....We could use a couple of extra hands for this painting project. If you can spare some time on Saturday from 9am to 1pm to help beautify this home it will ultimately help the appearance of the overall neighborhood."

Paint Your Heart Out, Inc is a volunteer driven non profit organization that helps low income, senior, disabled, and veteran homeowners maintain their dignity, safety, independence, and connections to the community by painting and providing homeowners with essential repairs and upkeep to their homes.

Please pass this on and RSVP to jaiken@swa.org....
Your help is greatly appreciated.
