Erica Whitfield is not a career politician.
But, sure.

Republicans all the way, no rinos! We do not need more rinos, Dems haters, dividers, and negative people in us elections!

I wasn't impressed by Contreras. She has nothing to recommend her except a big mouth.

Whitfield seems to be well-liked by both sides.

I can't agree with you that I should just vote for Republicans no matter what. I am able to do my own research and make my own decisions.

What you are saying is, you can't agree with the Republican Party.
Politics all starts at the local level.
I will not vote for anyone who embraces CRT, etc. Our kids don't need liberal indoctrination. Contreras' one agenda: returning power to parents, bettering education for children and ultimately improving the United States of America. She believes the equity statement that this PB County School board issued is ridiculous. Her family came from Cuba so she abhors socialism.

Parents should have taken in an interest in their child's education a long time ago. The average parent doesn't even know what is going on. I can't imagine Whitfield is in favor of the radical left agenda. At any rate, if I were Cuban, or any other Nationality, I would send my child to Catholic School, no matter what my religion happened to be, or if I had no religion.

I think we've all seen what teaches in the public schools. It's an easy degree, and they don't know anything. A teacher has to have some knowledge of many subjects. The idea is to inspire the child to want to learn, not stand there like a manikin or a parrot.

Let's face it. We may talk about equality, but there is no equality in education.

Are all on the school board current parents with kids in schools now? Only vote for them! Not others who have no business on the board!
