Lake Worth received Federal Money for Affordable Housing

Lake Worth Beach to receive $750,000 for affordable housing

City officials worth to alleviate ongoing housing crisis

I remember the late, great Peter Timm who always said that everything in Lake Worth was affordable. Not any more, under the present government in power in Washington, D.C.

Lake Worth Beach City Commissioner Sarah Malega was among those who took part in a Monday announcement with U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel, D-Fla.

The city will receive $750,000 in federal money to boost a Lake Worth Beach program to build more affordable housing. Malega said. "Our goal is affordable home ownership and breaking the generational wealth gap."

Rents are ridiculously high and out of reach of the average worker.

Who's going to decide who's going to live there
Just like the artist loss or just like everything else at the city does they're going to give it away to their friends or their relatives

Well the City of lake Worth I'm sure will find some way to only build one or two buildings and they'll be rented out or sold before they even get built who's going to decide who's going to live there
Everything I put everybody's name in a hat and draw it out or is it oh well you got 10 people and this person here has two but we're going to give it to the person with the two or they're going to give it to the person with the 10 who's going to decide let me guess somebody that works for the city

The city is a rental haven and slum as it is, ghetto city USA, the nicer areas now are high rental too, so the city is fulled with lots of losers and blight! Not a nice place to live at all! That Lou's Frankel is another slave of the devil, big baby killer supporter!

Homeownership is definitely not for everybody. Some people enjoy and take pride in keeping their homes in great condition. You can tell just by looking at their landscaping.

To other people, it is a complete mystery, and not only from an economic standpoint. It's just not a passion for them, and to keep a home in good condition, it almost has to be a passion.

Other people are perfectly happy renting, or at least having a management company look after repairs and anything having to do with the outside of the home.

There are some beautiful homes in Lake Worth, that are not looked after in the way they should be.

There is just too much crime in Lake Worth Beach! The news tonight spoke of another shooting in the city! Any decent people would move and flee this war torn city of lawlessness and blight!
