A lot of you have received this disgusting, lying "hit" piece mailed out by Committee to Protect Florida PAC funded by Hudson Holdings, the company that employs John Szerdi and Wes Blackman. Not only does it attack the opponents who are running for office in Lake Worth but it attacks private citizens as well. The entire publication, costing close to $5,000, is a slick shiny piece of assassinations, a total lie from its first sentence to its last. It attacks democracy itself!
Who knows--perhaps it was First Impressions Creative Services, the mayor's very own company. It must have been designed by one of the trio's political marketing firms (they have raised $88,000 so far with more to come and can well afford the slime) with the trio or friends funneling in false photos. It is just too slimy and dishonest and you would think we were in national politics instead of in a small town.
Hudson Holdings got its up-zoning by three elected officials that they support. All of the information in this mailer was provided to them by those who want to give developers/investors anything they wish at the expense of the vote. Even the photos on the rear page have nothing to do with Lake Worth and the fact that they are overlaid on top of city hall, gives the impression that some demonstration had taken place there by one or all of the opponents. The mailer's headliner says "Don't be fooled again" but who is fooling whom? Stop with the lies!
No one is in the city to "agitate" anything. "Professional protesters" here to use dishonest tactics? Who are they? Where are they?

Yes, Lake Worth is in a crossroads and we choose people who will be fiscally responsible and tell the truth. We don't have that now. The mayor has said, "We all love Lake Worth, let's quit the bashing and the personal attacks." She has all her bullet points down pat. When does the bullying stop and leadership begin? When do the lies end? The voters are not fools, mayor. We are not the PBPost editorial board.

Scotty boy, after telling everyone at the last NA forum that "Anyone could have attended the ITN meetings" (talk about a huge blatant lie!) told me he was sure nothing he did could lower my opinion of him any more. I don't think the average voter is at all impressed with this "GRAND VISION." They are more impressed with pot holes the size of small sink holes, constant uproar about whether we will be permitted to keep our beach, a constant parade of financial directors, the parade of needles in our parks, and the crime in our neighborhoods. As the say, "All politics is local" and unless you are a developer, the local politics visible in our neighborhoods is lousy.

Today I received a letter from someone by the name of Martha Nungesser from 419 N J St. She wrote a very good letter as a caring citizen asking to vote for others than these incumbents. I already am, but agree with her. She is genuine and caring. She is right, our streets are so bad, especially North K and J streets, they are some of the worst, this is andy's area, pam's too, but they never do anything. They will not get my vote. Thank you so much Lynn and Martha for caring and all you are doing to get out the vote to get rid of this horrible trio. They are the worst I have seen in the past 30 years here.

I believe that what was in the bond referendum was that EACH commissioner was able to direct some funds to be used in their District... like for playground equipment, or to fund crime watch programs, or parks programs, or more green space, or more pocket parks...

Built into the GO bond was $3.2 million to be divided evenly between the four districts. Each commissioner was allowed to use it for his district in any manner he chose. It was NOT for personal use. However, when you have that much money at your discretion, it is amazing how much seems to "go missing" or items cost twice the original cost, etc., etc.. Just a thought. Not saying that any cmmissioenr would ever do that though.
