Get rid of the Liars and Bullies at City Hall

But then, it doesn't matter whether you are white or black in Lake Worth or where you stand on national issues, you can be called a "racist" at any time for any reason. In Lake Worth, I and everyone else who voted against the General Obligation Bond, was called a "racist" by Scott Maxwell. He screamed it right there from the dais. He has resorted to name calling through the years and one of his favorites is calling us "liars."

And when you cast your vote on March 15, vote for anyone but those who have messed up our city. Can you even imagine a mayor lying to the people? Triolo just sent out a mailer stating the following:

Can anyone believe this crap? Who in their right mind would want a city to go to slum and blight, which, by the way, has gotten worse under these incumbents.

I was at that meeting when a commissioner told a resident about getting used to living in a ghetto.  He had complained about a situation up on North Dixie. Our code department was stressed with all the issues and it was her way of saying "you will have to wait awhile" to have it taken care of. A bad joke turned into a bully blogger's dream as he has run with it through the years and now it is legend by those who love to lie and by Pam Triolo who was not even at that meeting. In fact, she never attended any commission meetings before she decided to run. The bully blogger was beaten by this commissioner twice and he is totally obsessed with everything she does.

Later, a new city manager was hired.  Our city was in the red.  She turned it around to the Black. Austerity measures had to be taken. The Code Department today is similar in numbers as to what it was then.

No one tried to get rid of PBSO. We didn't want them to begin with. A former minority commission gave the argument for retaining our own police department that had been a part of our identity since inception. PBSO was going to cost more and the city lost control. The police wanted to go to PBSO (more money) and the majority ruled in that vote (Clemens, Lowe and Vespo) even though all the extra services we were already getting and paying for were included in our county taxes. PBSO through the years has done a magnificent PR job here in Lake Worth. However, and as we all know, crime is rampant.

There was a suggestion to raise a small fee of approximately $6 a month to pay towards the Fireman's pension but it did not fly with the residents. No one raised taxes but this present commission raised all of your taxes this year. However, back then, it was suggested that every property owner pay the same in order to cover the expense of having fire/rescue and all the pension retirement costs which were then at 172% of payroll. What did Scott Maxwell say?  "This is fair!" The  argument? We get the service therefore charging everyone the same fee is fair. And just ask what the employees think about what's going on right now.  They don't think anything is fair.  People are being fired right and left and some still have not received their raise after 8 years.

So, on Tuesday, let's make a change.  All three incumbents have lied to you and have gone overboard with lies on their campaign mailers with a war chest close to $100,000. They are fooling the uninformed.  Don't let it happen. Vote the incumbents OUT.
