George Bush was the second one placed against the wall. The squad was reassembled, and George pondered what he had just witnessed. Again, before the order was given George yelled out, "Tornado!" Again, the squad fell apart and George slipped over the wall.

The last person, Joe Biden, was placed against the wall. He was thinking, I see the pattern here, just scream out something about a disaster and hop over the wall. A Covid-19 testing company in California was slapped with $22.5 million in fines after they admitted to faking test results to patients.

The company, Sameday Technologies, operates 55 Sameday Health testing sites nationwide, including 16 locations in L.A. County.

On Thursday, Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer announced that Los Angeles-based national COVID-testing chain Sameday Health had reached a settlement worth $22.5 million over allegations that the company forged COVID-19 test results and engaged in false advertising and insurance fraud.

More than 50 percent spike in deaths among Los Angeles County’s homeless population

which happened during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to recently released data, which found that it was mainly driven by overdoses—not COVID-19.

Los Angeles County, which has been dominated by Democratic executives and elected officials for years, said that between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021, some 1,988 overall deaths among the homeless were recorded. That’s up about 56 percent from 1,271 deaths during the same time period one year earlier, said a report from the LA Department of Public Health, dated April 22.

As a result, the county concluded that drug overdoses remained the top cause of death among homeless individuals during that time-frame. Overdose deaths also increased 78 percent “from the pre- to post-pandemic onset year,” the country wrote.

Air Force now going to have "safe spaces" and Gender Identity Training

Biden’s USAF Has A New Mission and It is Not Going to America More Secure

The U.S. Air Force is advising its leaders to develop a “safe space” in which Airmen can take part in “healthy discussion” and “share perspectives” as part of what leaders are calling a “cultural shift” in the service.

The effort, called “Airmen’s Time,” was produced to advance the “wellness and advancement” of those serving in the Air Force, according to a copy of a memo procured by the Washington Free Beacon, which was sent out to “command teams and supervisors.”

The move belongs to an effort by the U.S. armed force under the Biden regime to change internal culture. The Army, for example, has actually mandated its soldiers go through training on gender identity and pronouns.

At the Lake Worth beach

Now, to purchase a beach decal, you must do it on line. But there is no information on the City's web site as to the date that you can start to purchase. Everything is more complicated with the City these days. You used to go into the Annex with your ID, Car Registration and Utility bill to purchase a beach decal that was opened during the last week of the preceding month when it became in effect..

According to The Lake Worth Herald, you can only purchase beach parking permits from the city web site available on May 1. All permits are now virtual and assigned to the license plate once paid. There are no more physical decals or paper applications anymore!!?? Don't know how this is going to work.

Today, you can't get one person to ever answer the phone. And my gripe of late is the service charge they are charging on water and electric. Can't get any info on that either.

Ron DeSantis to address Florida's Property Insurance Premiums

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) announced that he will call state lawmakers back for a second special session in May “to bring some sanity and stabilize” the property insurance market.

In the past several years property insurance rates have soared in Florida and some owners have had their policies canceled, or have had difficulty finding insurers willing to issue a policy.

Our condo insurance continues to rise over the last several years at exhorbitant rates. Our liability carrier we had for years cancelled every building who had them with the excuse of "rising crime" in Lake Worth." We have had no crime out here. Our new carrier's premium is triple what we were paying.

Insurance rate hikes are nothing new to all of us. We pay for every catastrophe throughout the country. One thing that triggered it for this year was the Surfside condo collapse in Miami last year.

I am glad to see our governor will address this.

On another note, DeSantis instructed lawmakers to come up with an acceptable map creating new boundaries for Congressional districts in the state. They did just that on a 24-15 vote.

Florida Senate Passes Bill Stripping Disney World of Special Status

Florida’s Senate passed a bill yesterday during a special session that would dissolve the special tax district that has allowed Walt Disney World to enjoy autonomy since 1967 as the showdown between the Walt Disney Company and Florida’s leaders over a new parental rights law continues.

Disney has been out of compliance since 1997 with a law that required districts to seek re-codification.

The Florida Senate’s 23-16 vote came after Governor Ron DeSantis called for the Florida legislature to expand its special session to review the privileges granted to Disney World. The measure now heads to the Florida House which is also led by Republicans. If passed in the lower chamber of Florida’s legislature, DeSantis is expected to sign the bill to eliminate Disney World’s special tax and operational status.

Article III, Section 11(a)(12) of the Florida Constitution of 1968 prohibits special laws granting privileges to private corporations.

Disney will have a year to get its act together and basically get "unwoke."

Georgia became the 25th constitutional carry state in the Union when Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed legislation on Tuesday.

To put it another way, half of the states in the United States now have constitutional carry. Florida is not one of them.

Wikipedia describes Constitutional Carry as "In the United States, the term constitutional carry, also called permitless carry, unrestricted carry, or Vermont carry, refers to the legal public carrying of a handgun, either openly or concealed, without a license or permit."

A glaring gap in the federal law allows individuals to buy a gun without a background check and with no questions asked. As much as I believe in the 2nd Amendment, I must say I believe everyone needs to have a background check and a permit to "carry."

DeSantis on Monday defended his education department’s rejection of math textbooks as part of an effort to eliminate social-emotional learning, a teaching philosophy that helps kids manage their feelings and show empathy for others, from the subject curriculum.

“Math is about getting the right answer. We want kids to learn to think so they get the right answer,” DeSantis said at a press conference in Jacksonville. And common Core is out!

The DOJ was able to uncover a massive green card scheme and currently has 11 individuals in lockup in connection to the scam.

Marcialito Biol Benitez a 48-year-old Philippines national, “operated what he and others referred to as an ‘agency’ that arranged hundreds of sham marriages between foreign national ‘clients’ and the United States citizens,” according to a press release made by the Department Of Justice.

“One of those foreign national clients resided in Massachusetts. The agency then allegedly prepared and submitted false petitions, applications and other documents to substantiate the sham marriages and secure adjustment of clients’ immigration statuses for a fee of between $20,000 and $30,000 in cash,” the DOJ said.
