Scott Maxwell can't help himself - he is a bully

Comment Up
“It’s taken three years to fix minor issues.
 I find that unconscionable.”

~ Scott Maxwell
being obnoxiously uncouth towards Rick Gonzalez of REG Architects and the Morganti Group, the contractor of our Lake Worth Casino.

He was rough, harsh, crude and a bully. So, what's new? And the people who support him are the same...constant interruptions during city commission meetings [the mayor can't seem to hear them], snarky remarks at the lectern from an NA president and those who believe they are better or know more than the rest of us--judgmental and just plain rude.

Rick Gonzales' of, REG Architects whose firm is an expert in historical renovations and even was hired at Mar-A-Lago and also restored the original Court House in West Palm Beach, did say that maintenance on a harsh environment takes more maintenance [than just routine]. That has always been the City of Lake Worth's problem...they don't maintain anything. Scott couldn't figure out why they didn't build it better to withstand this harsh environment and blamed them personally.

We have had construction and some hardware issues at our casino and Maxwell said that the deficiencies are an embarrassment. The only embarrassment Tuesday night was the Vice Mayor and using the possibility of "litigation" as a reason why this commission has not been able to rent the 2nd floor space.

I understand the frustration of not getting this solved but personally attacking people and using Pitbull tactics is not the answer. Tuesday night, the city was about to declare a default against the builders but Glen Torcivia, city attorney for Lake Worth, said that there has been a lot of progress over the last few weeks.  He suggested that a declaration of default come back to the commission for consideration on March 22 by extending the Tolling Agreement.  The entire commission agreed.

Scott Maxwell you are a POMPOUS ASS. I viewed the video of the last commissioners meeting last night for the second time. I could not believe what I saw and what I heard. Your attack on Commissioner McVoy and Commissioner Maier was despicable. Once again you spouted off about them being at our Protest OVER GARBAGE not over loosing our homes you jackass. They had every right to be their. Commissioner McVoy is OUR Commissioner. Both of these gentlemen only asked what our problem was and listened to our concerns. YOU on the other hand had to make sure you got your nose in front of the camera to spread your lies again. Did you forget the false promises to made to us. No problem with garbage pick up, no extra charge, you would rezone us. Political Bull Shit.
You were the only one who went back into City Hall to get your business cards to hand out to Commissioner McVoy constituents. Not once did you speak to anyone last night with respect. You and Amoroso personally attacked 2 commissioners. It is obvious you have a personal vendetta against both of the GENTLEMEN. STOP THE BULLYING AND BS SLINGLING. By the way did you help those 2 ladies write their speeches. Sure seemed like it to me.

Yea good thing mcoy and maier were at your garbage pick up protest. It's not like they have more important crime related issues in their districts they could be working with PBSO on or serious code issues they could be working with code enforcement on. Yep some fabricated "scandal" about trash pick up is a top priority for those clowns. No big surprise there.

Actually, McVoy and Maier were at City Hall for the CDBG meeting just like ALL of the rest of the commissioners.

The ONLY people who make up stuff are the ones pointed out on this blog.

No big surprise that you drink the Kool-Aid @10:37.

So jgreene, you all are complaining about your trash as you litter city hall???

Ms Greene, when was the first time you tried and reached out to your cimmissioner, Me McVoy, on this issue? And when did he first reply to your inquiry? We're both prior to your letter to the Palm Beach Post?

Lynn Anderson said...

The issue just came about, didn't it, when the park owner got a letter from the city.
Who really cares what came first, the chicken or the egg?

OH my god. Please go back to school 12:04PM. Actually our contact with Commissioner (correct spelling) McVoy (Also correct spelling) was shortly after we got the letter from the city. Commission McVoy has been very helpful with a lot of issues we have had in the past. The letter to the Palm Beach Post was sent at the same time as all of the other letters we sent out. So depending on how fast they received it depends on the carrier. Can't help you there idiot.

To 11:29 am. Yep. TRASH BEGETS TRASH

If Ms Greene was actually trying to get to the bottom of their issue, seems the first call would have been the the mobile home parks management team. Second call would have been to the Dir of Public Works to schedule an appointment to discuss the siia, and the third call to her city commissioner who is Chris McVoy, and then maybe the Mayor. This more than which came first the chicken or the egg... No instead Ms Greene chooses to scare her neighbors that the sky is falling and turns instead to candidate Diane Jacques and allows her to 'edit and add comments' about how the city is gonna take away these people's homes to the letter Greene then sends to the Palm Beach Post.

So, Ms Greene, please come clean and disclose your chronicle of actions because right now it looks like you are grandstanding by freaking out other elderly homeowners with your falsehoods.

And Lynn, I have the emails she, you and Diane sent to each other, should you wish to post them. Frankly, I doubt you will even post this reply.

Well, anonymous, you are a pathetic little coward. Post under your own name and you might, maybe, just have a wee bit of credibility.
but you don't.
I believe that the park owner is the one who informed Greene first. The chain of events after that and what was done is probably very much what you suggested...maybe not the mayor as she has little clout.
You have the e-mails? Definitely interested.

Do you think Maxwell's rudeness to these gentlemen could have been jockeying to try and get legal to ask for remuneration for all the time they have not rented (or tried) the upstairs? I'm sure he would be the first to blame someone else.

Well Mr. Anonymous, You obviously do not have the facts straight as you keep trying to twist them. First, I was the first one to notify management of the letter as I was told by Jason Yaegar, Supervisor of Waste management what was going to happen and that a letter was forthcoming. I received the letter from someone and I immediately made a copy of it to send it to Riverstone. They did not receive this letter as it was SENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I (me, myself and I) wrote the letter and sent it to all news media and the persons running for office because honestly I do not trust the trio to not push it under the rug like you have done now. I (me, myself and I) contacted Lynn Anderson who in turn put me into contact with Diane Jacques and Gary. Diane was the first to respond and listen to our concerns. I had left something's out of the letter that Diane felt it was important to put in and I agreed that it was. OUR commissioner was notified of our problems and received a copy of the letter also.
I did not want to hear any more lies coming out of the trio's mouths so NO you all did not get the letter first. About those emails I would watch what you put on line. Just saying. But if you want to, hell go for it. And as I said previously "IT WAS ABOUT THE TRASH ISSUE" you idiot. That is what started all of this. You keep trying to make excuses for asinine actions.

@Jerri, you should ignore that ignorant, anonymous (AKA Wes Blackman), victim blaming piece of garbage. You're in the right, the vast, vast majority of the citizens in this city support you, and the noise coming from anonymous is the sound of a the majority slipping through his fingers.
