Lake Worth wants Commission to authorize a $16 million loan for pipes

Comment Up

You have to wonder what ever happened to the potholes.

Tonight's the night that the city commission will vote on taking more of your money that will be reflected in your monthly water and sewer bill in order to replace 2inch pipes on 17 miles of road in our city. Whether this pipe replacement affects you or not, you will pay. The estimated SRF Loan amount is $16 million, which will be obtained annually as needed.

Debts outstanding:
#1 Series 2008 Debt Service
#2 Bank of America Public Capital Series 2013 Loan
#3 SRF Revolving $6.5M Loan
#4 SRF Revolving $450K Loan & 2.549M Principal Forgiven
And after tonight--
#5 2" Watermain SRF Loan $16.06 Million

We need this done but it seems that the city adopted the govt's plan for success, raise fees and grow the debt.

We don't have enough money in general revenue, so i think this probably is a decent solution.

Raising funds through the water bill to replace water pipes seems logical. We can't raise taxes (on the third of property owners who pay City taxes) as we are already at the top of the millage rate). We've also been told time and time again that we can't assess home owners so this seems ok to me. And no, I will see no benefit.

Where has our CIP money gone? A real City manager would have had this corrected in his 2 1/2 years, with economic development of lake Worth's over 1 billion dollar assets.Hasn't even rented 5000 sq.ft.Plam Beach Island Oceanfront Beach restaurant space.Inferior tenants will not contribute to our
water pipes replacement.
Laurence McNamara has a City serving proposal:
Honest Neighborhood Presidents, who do not use that position for Campaigns of Lies,Deceptions,Smearing and Distortion of Facts about good Loyal to lake Worth ,moral Citizens,

and are liked,
by their neighbors, can organize each property owner of each street, which has potholes, damaging to our cars, and image of Lake Worth AND THEIR PROPERTIES
,to gather money to buy INEXPENSIVE tar and sand for a few dollars and fill their streets' potholes. It will not add up to $63,000,000,-.
How much do we owe of the $69,000,000.- Utility Bond?Of the reconstruction of Lake Worth most important POPULAR icon, the Palm Beach Island Oceanfront Casino?
The incompetent City manager of lake Worth should have created revenues with lake Worth over 1 billion Dallors worth of assets, to raise funds to replace waterpipes. He has given away assest, since he and the Commission majority do not want to
manage our lucrative assets.
Their incompetence has been shown in their 2 1/2 years in which they occupied our Commission Offices and City Manager position
Lake Worth needs a City Manager who can manage Lake Worth and its over 1 billion assets, which are waiting to create revenue for the City,by business and Municipal Government savvy moral Citizens.Ever done a background check useless, proven anti Lake Worth, legal Dept.?Can you stand the litmus test of morality?Performance check of Lantana employement?Citizens what are we paying for?Your incompetent Citymanager wants to increase indebtedness of Lake Worth more, without guarantee what the $16,000,000 will be used for.A Lake Worth Citizen, whose expertise that is, without kickback demand, would know what it really costs,as that is his expertise.Infrastructure rebuilding, not the proven incompetent City manager who has proven, cannot increase our General Fund..in 2 1/2 years.

The Commission majority and the City Manager have over one billion dollars in lake Worth assets to develop economically, to create revenue to increase our General Fund. Most of these assets are there to see for the naked eye,
and their huge economic development capacity ,
evident.
Lake Worth Taxpayers money should be spent on competent people who see and understand the lucrative potential of an iconic small American RESORT Town with a Palm Beach Island Oceanfront Beach! My client Brio, who wanted to rent both floor was reject with lies of former asst.City Manger who wanted her broker to get the Commission. He leased a City Place location ,instead!!!To Hell with lake Worth Budget deficit?
Let us hire respectful experts in Municipal
Management and revenue creation with a palm Beach Island RESORT Town millions potential
and dispose of the proven useless, incompetent element, which
wastes our tax money, parasites,
and elect experienced, moral known Citizens Commission members of Lake Worth, who have proven their competence, with lucrative proposals, ignored by the criminal element of Commission majority, repressed by the vicious, dishonest element of lake Worth.
Remember :Arrogance is based on ignorance!

The general Fund would have sufficient revenue,if lake Worth had competent City Economic Management
employed.
In 2 1/2 years it has been proven salaries on thos hired without background check have cost enormous monies, and delivered no results but give-aways of lake Worth lucrative assets for $1,00 a year,as this element does not want to manage those.

Lynn, you will not print this but I felt compelled to answer your comment @11:16 of my comments regarding Dee. You recently said Dee spoke 9 languages. I do not believe that. After all the vicious attacks she has made on residents that you have posted you have a lot of nerve chastising me.

6 languages I was told but not sure...not counting.
I am not sure about vicious attacks on residents as I did not read her blog or her Facebook page which were all under her name...She stood up for her beliefs on those pages as well as in her e-mails.
