I say anyone but Bush. With 47% of those taking the latest poll, Obama is still liked even though our country is one total screwed up mess on its way to being part of the 3rd world. That's no exaggeration. It's when do you tell the American people that the pockets are empty?
Obama has cut the deficit in half.
The Dow has doubled since Obama took office.
Unemployment is down over 4% since Obama took office and he has matched Reagan for creating jobs.
These are facts.
And the people who like to go by facts and who embrace reality are the people who like Obama, for the most part. The other people watch Fox News and read NewsMax.
What will be interesting is whether Tea Party birthers are going to go after a white Ted Cruz like they went after a black Obama over where he was born. I suspect not because...well, we all know why.

Remember the Nov. mid terms where the Democrats got their asses kicked? These are the same voters that will make Ted Cruz the winner in a landslide.They are also the same voters that will stay away from the ballot box again if another moderate Republican is shoved in their faces.
The conservatives are not the "base" of the Republican party. They are the body and soul of the Republican party. If the Republicans want to go down in flames (yet again) in the 2016 election, run another moderate.

NBC, CBS, and ABC news each has 5 to 10 times the viewership of any of the cable (not really news) programs.
