Lake Worth General Obligation Bond Reminder

Comment Up

As the bully blogger seems to like my blog so much but doesn't understand satire (he continues to grab copy and photos off my blog to make points) and just wants to bring-down the Lake Worth Tribune, Lynn's Little Bit of Trivia, Channel 12, and the Palm Beach Post (people or entities that disagree with him), I have reinstated the following blog that was published on 8-29-14 after the Lake Worth 2020 crashed and burned. This is solely for his benefit as well as a reminder to all of you of the money grab that the mayor (the face of the city) wants to revive.  Also, we all need to be reminded that when you add copy to an original story and take something out of context to make a false point, and you don't reference the original article with a link, you lose your credibility as well as the fact it's copyright infringement. This graphic had to do with the Mayor's General Obligation Bond that failed at the polls. Everyone with average intelligence knows that other than the bully and one or two of his friends.

As there has been talk of this bond being resurrected in some sort of fashion, we are curious as to why the scheduled workshop for this Saturday was postponed. Perhaps they will clue us in at the regularly (re-scheduled commission meeting) on March 24.

Crashed and Burned

Will the city come up with another retroactive law
that doesn't apply in order to overturn a legal election
won by the people?
Or will they just try to moan and groan about the number of people who were "turned away" at the polls because of some "faulty" new equipment.  All of these "turn-aways" will now come out of the closet.

An Idiom

I always say, fight fire with fire. Wes is a loser.

You don't consider posting pictures of commissioners burning or bullets with their names on them as bullying?

Of course not, anonymous at 1:10. What IS bullying is this commission and particularly the mayor coming after me for writing an opinion. How is satire bullying?
Gee, and you're probably the guy who loves Jon Stewart.

Szerdi is proud of 2 and a half years in office - hummm - the term is 2 years and he was in for 2 years 4 months...ever wonder how or why?

You don't consider 2 1/2 years a lie if you only served 2 years 4 months?

Szerdi is the one who said 2-1/2 years of service. Check with him. I don't believe in nit-picking. it is an estimate.

Question, Lynn. If someone who didn't like you posted a picture of you in your "Yes!" tee shirt with gun sights trained on your chest, would you find that intimidating or scary or threatening?

Throughout my life, one of the best measures of whether something is appropriate is asking myself, "Would I want the same thing done to me?" If the answer is "No," it's usually best if you don't do it to someone else.

Someone famous once said, "Do unto others..."

I think that's good advice.

A biting the bullet parody is totally different that someone pointing a gun at my chest. A photo on fire depicting a crash and burn issue in this city is not the same as someone pointing a gun at me. You guys point guns at me in various ways--usually your mouth.

I think good advice is to use common sense, not take things too personally and understand poetic license.

The next thing I think you all need to understand is not to defame people on the front page of the local newspaper on hearsay.

Anon, do you consider ANY of the constant lies that Mark Easton prints as truth to be bullying? No of course not ,hypocrite. You and your small faction got crushed. You are the Chihuahua's of the political world. You think you rule ,when you hardly count. Lake Worth has been inoculated against your putrid infection. Move on to another town. You're done here.

the Herald is pretty much done too.

Parody and satire is used all of the time. Read any newspaper in the country and you will this as fact. This administration in LW can't take the criticism. Too bad. The simple fact, mayor, that you allowed citizens to attack other citizens at city commission meetings all for politics will NEVER get me to back down now. You can take that one to the bank...named bullets, burning photos, and anything else that depicts the issue. Until you publicly CHANGE YOUR POLICY on this, I will continue on.
