Keep balance in mind as Lake Worth grows
I’m an anarchist. I’m in my 50s, and I’m an anarchist because I don’t want Lake Worth to become Delray Beach or Boca Raton (no offense to either place).
We don’t need an urban canyon in downtown Lake Worth. And it doesn’t matter who keeps pushing for it, you are going to be defeated.
I’m not a Luddite. We do need to grow as a city, but we don’t need to saturate our downtown with four-story buildings to do that, or sell our beach. As The Post so rightly pointed out, what this city needs is balance. For us to move forward and grow cohesively, we must do it with the needs of all those in the city considered — and not just developers and others who just see only dollar bills, not lives, families and homes.
We are creating something amazing — a diverse funky town that I am excited to watch my son grow up in. With a balanced approach to growth, we will be the “Jewel” that this city’s originators saw and will become the future they envisioned.

So now we know the anarchists do plan to control lw. Well, we always knew that, but now they are finally admitting it publicly. This should be fun to watch, stay tuned...

The first sentence says "I am an anarchist." Not sure how else to take that. Yay anarchy!
He's an anarchist in the respect that he is going against the status quo of this majority local commission.
All you do is complain about the blight and crime in the city so how can you now agree with him the city is a jewel?
Lake Worth was was called "Jewel." The name Jewel has been attributed to Fannie and Samuel James, believed to be the first residents of this town.
