Biden-era policy granted US entry to low-level Taliban workers

Hundreds of former Taliban government workers were greenlit to resettle in the United States under a Biden administration policy that’s raising more than a few eyebrows, as Just the News reports.

In a nutshell, this controversial exemption, rolled out in June 2022, allowed certain Afghan refugees, including low-level “civil servants” who worked under the Taliban, to bypass terrorism-related barriers and make a new home in America.

Tens of thousands of Afghans were airlifted out of Hamid Karzai International Airport during a frenzied non-combatant evacuation operation, but watchdog reports and witness accounts have since slammed the vetting process as riddled with serious flaws.

These exemptions targeted specific groups, like Afghans who served as “civil servants” under the Taliban during two distinct periods -- before the 9/11 attacks and after the 2021 takeover -- as well as those who supported U.S. military interests against the Taliban or Soviet forces.

According to a DHS report to Congress for fiscal year 2024, a staggering 6,848 exemptions were granted under this policy, with 6,653 of those for refugees. It's a sharp spike from just 603 in 2022 and a mere 191 in 2021.

Federal border agents launch immigration crackdown in New Orleans

The Department of Homeland Security has launched an immigration crackdown in New Orleans, saying the operation targets violent criminals.

Wednesday in New Orleans under an operation that a Homeland Security official said would target violent criminals, expanding the Trump administration's sweeps that have unfolded in other U.S. cities.

The aim of the operation is to capture immigrants who were released after their arrests for crimes such as home invasion, armed robbery and rape, Homeland Security Department Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.

She did not say how many agents would be deployed under the operation. Louisiana has been preparing for weeks for an immigration crackdown that Republican Gov. Jeff Landry has said he would welcome.

“Sanctuary policies endanger American communities by releasing illegal criminal aliens and forcing DHS law enforcement to risk their lives to remove criminal illegal aliens that should have never been put back on the streets,” McLaughlin said.

Manhattan therapist confirms Trump Manhattan psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert practices psychotherapy in Manhattan and Washington, D.C., where he wrote a November 12 op-ed in The Wall Street Journal about patients bringing President Trump into therapy sessions.

Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek (D) threatened to investigate and prosecute federal agents who enforce the United States’ immigration laws in the state of Oregon.

In a video on Instagram, Kotek accused the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of carrying out “violent actions” and “stoking fear in the name of immigration enforcement.” Kotek also said the state would “investigate misconduct” and hold federal officers accountable.

“I believe as you do, in the rule of law and keeping our community safe,” Kotek said. “We also believe in being a welcoming place, where our immigrant and refugee community help our state thrive. The ongoing violent actions of the federal Department of Homeland Security are unacceptable — going after Oregonians, and stoking fear in the name of ‘immigration enforcement.'”

President Donald Trump says there's a “good chance” for a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, but his negotiators have hard work ahead — they now head to the Kremlin and still need to iron out key details with Kyiv.

Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff was set to travel to Moscow to meet with Putin on Tuesday, the Kremlin said, after what the United States described as “very productive” talks Sunday with Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was rallying European support in Paris, though he cautioned that some “tough issues” still have to be worked out with Washington.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signaled last week that he was ready to have a “serious” conversation after Kyiv and its allies demanded changes to the peace plan, but has shown little sign of stepping away from his hard-line demands that formed the basis of the original 28-point proposal backed by Trump.

Putin said last week he had received this new version of the Peace Plan and it could serve as a framework for a final peace deal. However, he also indicated that he was not keen to negotiate with the current “illegitimate” Ukrainian government.

He said fighting would only stop when Ukrainian troops withdraw from the territories they hold, showing little sign of compromise on the core issue of Ukrainian territorial concessions centered on the eastern Donbas region.

“If they don’t withdraw, we will achieve this by force,” Putin said.

Palm Beach Couple arrested for Grand theft

"A Palm Beach County couple is accused of stealing approximately $31,000 worth of merchandise in the span of two months.

On Tuesday, Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the arrest of Caleb Rashaun Frederick, 29, and Ne’osha Lasha Taylor, 29, in connection with 40 documented thefts across Palm Beach and Broward counties, after an investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Uthmeier says between Sept. 3 and Nov. 14, the couple targeted chains like Publix, Walgreens, Dollar General, Winn-Dixie, Walmart, Target, Macy’s, BJ’s Wholesale and JCPenney, and allegedly took mostly household appliances and laundry products, which they would then sell on Facebook Marketplace.

He says they coordinated the thefts together, with one allegedly acting as a lookout and one stealing merchandise.

Frederick is being charged with one count of organized retail theft, five counts of dealing in stolen property and one county of false verification of ownership. Taylor is charged with one count of organized retail theft and four counts of dealing in stolen property.

“These types of thefts burden Florida’s families by driving up prices as stores try to cover their losses,” said Uthmeier, who last month announced an investigative retail theft task force to crack down on organized theft in Florida." [WFLX]

The Trump administration asked the court to clear the way for it to implement its directives requiring passports to display individuals’ biological sex at birth by pausing a district court order that prevented the administration from enforcing its policy against transgender and nonbinary Americans.

The case was fully briefed by early October, but the court did not release its brief, unsigned decision until Nov. 6.

Jackson again wrote a dissenting opinion, joined by Kagan and Sotomayor, in which she contended that the “documented real-world harms to these plaintiffs obviously outweigh the Government’s … implementation of the Passport Policy.”

In case you Democrats missed it, the apparent 6-3 majority held that “[d]isplaying passport holders’ sex at birth no more offends equal protection principles than displaying their country of birth.”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Friday announced his department will look to cut off federal benefits to illegal aliens.

In a message posted to X, Bessent said the Treasury would execute President Donald Trump’s order, which was posted across social media on Thanksgiving and took aim at a range of issues, including the “refugee burden” on America, which Trump blamed for “social dysfunction…something that did not exist after World War II.”

Trump has reacted strongly to the shooting of two West Virginia National Guard members and the subsequent death of Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, blaming illegal immigration and the wider immigrant population for troubles in the United States– something he has done throughout both his administrations and one of the reasons for enacting the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.

Trump in his Thanksgiving message heavily criticized immigration policy in the U.S. and the benefits those immigrants receive.

Particularly, Trump described how “a migrant earning $30,000 with a green card will get roughly $50,000 in yearly benefits for their family.”

Homeland Security officials confirmed to Fox News that a Virginia principal and his brother are under federal investigation for plotting to attack ICE agents.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said Wednesday that Kempsville High School assistant principal John Wilson Bennett and his older brother, Mark Booth Bennett, were overheard at a Vietnamese restaurant in Virginia Beach allegedly discussing plans to travel to Nevada and carry out attacks on ICE agents.

The brothers reportedly claimed the attacks would be in retaliation for what they described as recent ICE “kidnapping[s]” of civilians during immigration enforcement operations.

John Bennett has been a faculty member at Kempsville High School, located in inland Virginia Beach, since 2009. School officials told local media he is currently on leave.

According to McLaughlin, the investigation began after an off-duty Norfolk police officer overheard the brothers on Nov. 17 discussing plans to “kill police officers and ICE agents.” Mark Bennett allegedly stated that he planned to meet with like-minded individuals in Las Vegas and intended to purchase firearms with explosive rounds.

Two days later, Mark Bennett was arrested at Norfolk International Airport before boarding a flight to Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, where he was scheduled to connect to Las Vegas. John Bennett was arrested the same day.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Nov. 27 that he would “permanently pause migration from all Third World countries” and remove foreign nationals who are “incapable of loving” the United States, saying the steps were necessary to allow for the U.S. system’s full recovery.

In a Truth Social post, Trump stated that while the United States has made progress in technology, the country’s immigration policy has eroded those gains and affected the living conditions for citizens.

To address this, Trump pledged that his administration would work to pause immigration from “third world countries,” suspend all federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens, denaturalize immigrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any foreigners deemed to be “a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western civilization.”

Trump also vowed to remove anyone whom the government determines “not a net asset” to the United States or is “incapable of loving” the country.

That's according to a statement of Joe Biden's press secretary, Jen Psaki, at the time thousands of Afghans were being brought into the United States by the Democrat administration then.

At the time, Psaki was questioned about the possibility of terrorists being delivered to U.S. shores by Biden's Operation Allies, which was supposed to have been evacuating and resettling U.S. "allies" from Afghanistan, after the U.S. abruptly withdrew its troops of that location.

A former World Trade Center worker who “narrowly escaped” the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks has been beaten to death by three teens — one of whom was just 12 at the time of the attack, according to officials.

Long Island native Roger Borkum, 64, was found “severely beaten” just before midnight on Oct. 19 in Downtown Jacksonville, FL., after three teens were seen “kicking and stomping” him, according to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

He was found with blood “pooled” around his head — and a “blood trail extending down the sidewalk,” the arrest report said.

The attackers were seen “rummaging” through Borkum’s backpack — and then returned around 20 minutes later, kicking him “multiple” times, the report said. In total, the same suspects were seen “battering the victim three separate times,” the police docs said.

Borkum, a widower who was homeless at the time, died four days later of his injuries.

The increase in complaints is prompting city leaders to consider new action ahead of next week's commission meeting.

'It seems like a great area, it just has to be cleaned up a bit,' Mia Cozier tells WPTV. Business owners and neighbors said the Cultural Plaza has seen a noticeable spike in concerning activity in recent months. One of the newest to speak out is Mia Cozier, who opened her juice bar, You Got The Juice, less than a week ago directly across from the plaza.

"It seems like a great area, it just has to be cleaned up a bit," Cozier told WPTV. Cozier said she began noticing troubling behavior almost immediately — and is worried it could hurt foot traffic and deter customers. "A lot of business owners in this area invest a lot of money in their businesses," she said. "I don't want them to scare away the clientele."

To better understand what was happening behind her building, Cozier installed a camera. What she found, she says, has been alarming.

"We would come in the morning and it would smell weird. People will take showers back there, we would find soap, we would find clothes back there. I just found condoms back there," she said, adding that she has also encountered drug paraphernalia.

Fascism is leftist in origin. Mussolini was a socialist before founding fascism. Hitler’s Nazi Party was the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. These movements centralized power, suppressed free markets, and demanded ideological conformity. Trump’s policies are the opposite.

Deregulation, tax cuts, decentralization of power, and a push for national sovereignty are not fascist—they are conservative. Who’s acting like 1930s fascists today? It’s the left:

Silencing dissent through cancel culture.
Using media and academia as propaganda arms.
Weaponizing the DOJ and FBI against political opponents.
Encouraging mobs to intimidate and suppress speech.
The Treasonous Nature of Mislabeling

Calling Trump “Hitler” isn’t just a lie—it’s a deliberate attempt to delegitimize elections and destabilize the republic. When leaders tell the military to disobey lawful orders, they are encouraging insubordination and chaos. That is not “resistance.” That is sabotage.

Historical inversion:
In Nazi Germany, the military was ordered to obey illegal commands without question. In America today, Democrats are telling soldiers to disobey legal commands if they don’t like the politics. That’s not protecting democracy—it’s undermining it.

Moral bankruptcy:
Equating Trump supporters (MAGA) with Nazis is a slander against millions of patriotic Americans who simply want secure borders, economic growth, and constitutional freedoms. Trump is not Hitler. MAGA is not fascism.

The left’s constant Nazi comparisons are historically ignorant, morally bankrupt, and politically dangerous. They invert reality: the authoritarian impulse is coming from the left, not the right. And when an lected official tells soldiers to disobey lawful orders, that’s not “progressive.” That’s traitorous.

Facts don’t care about liberal feelings. And the fact is: calling Trump a Nazi is a lie designed to destabilize America, while the real fascist behavior is being carried out by the very people making that accusation.

Suspect wanted in Lake Worth Beach Walgreens robbery

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is asking for help to find a man involved in a robbery at a Walgreens in Lake Worth Beach on Nov. 18, 2025, around 7:55 p.m.

Deputies say the suspect grabbed cash from a cashier during a transaction and ran away.

Described as a Black male with a thin build, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a white sweatshirt with the words "Blood Donor," black shorts, and red sneakers.

Savannah Craven Antao went to the emergency room needing stitches after Brianna Rivers punched her in the face during a peaceful street interview in April.

The attack was caught on video — every second of it. Rivers struck Craven Antao multiple times while the pro-life activist was calmly conducting a man-on-the-street interview for Live Action in Harlem. The whole thing was documented, witnessed, and went viral on social media.

Rivers was arrested and charged with second-degree assault — a felony.

But Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office downgraded the charge to a misdemeanor, then let the case die completely in July after "missing" a filing deadline.

I always will remember my Mother saying "Make sure I'm dead when I' dead."

In a shocking case of "I'm not dead yet," a woman was found alive in a coffin just moments before she was set to be cremated.

The incident took place in Thailand as Tham, a Buddhist temple in the Nonthaburi province on the outskirts of Bangkok, posted a video on its Facebook page, "revealing a woman lying in a white coffin in the back of a pickup truck, slightly moving her arms and head, leaving temple staff bewildered," according to the Associated Press.

The 65-year-old woman's brother drove her from the province of Phitsanulok to be cremated, the temple's general and financial affairs manager Pairat Soodthoop told AP.

And that's when they heard a faint knock coming from the burial box. "I was a bit surprised, so I asked them to open the coffin, and everyone was startled," Pairat said.

"I saw her opening her eyes slightly and knocking on the side of the coffin. She must have been knocking for quite some time."
