And five words from a Biden DOJ official just exposed the FBI's Mar-a-Lago raid scandal. The FBI never believed it had legal grounds to raid President Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in August 2022.

Newly declassified emails reviewed by Fox News Digital revealed that FBI officials repeatedly expressed serious concerns about the lack of probable cause to execute a search warrant on the former President's Florida home.

But the Biden Justice Department forced them to do it anyway.

"Very little has been developed related to who might be culpable for mishandling the documents," an FBI assistant special agent in charge wrote to another FBI official.

The Washington Field Office had been drafting a search warrant affidavit but had major reservations. "WFO has some concerns that the information is single source, has not been corroborated, and may be dated," the FBI official continued.

The FBI's preference was clear — pursue "alternative, less intrusive and likelier quicker options for resolution" to reclaim any potential classified records rather than an armed raid.
