Pope Leo XIV directed the bishops to speak out against Trump's crackdown, and they fell in line like good little soldiers. But nobody's asking the obvious question: Why are the bishops so invested in keeping illegal aliens in America?

Follow the Money--The answer is staring everyone right in the face.

During the Biden years, Catholic organizations received approximately $2.3 billion in federal funding for migrant-related services.That's billion with a "B."

Now Trump is deporting illegal aliens and enforcing the law. And the Catholic bishops just exposed the real reason they're attacking the administration's immigration crackdown.

Border Czar Tom Homan isn't backing down from the bishops. "The Catholic Church is wrong," Homan declared outside the White House."I'm a lifelong Catholic, but I'm saying it not only as a border czar, but I'm also saying this as a Catholic — they need to spend time fixing the Catholic Church."

Homan pointed out the Vatican's hypocrisy on border security. "You can't enter their facilities without getting arrested," he said. "The penalties for entering their facility are much worse than ours."

He's right. The Vatican has walls. It has strict security. Try walking into St. Peter's uninvited and see what happens.

But when America enforces its borders? Suddenly that's "dehumanizing."

Homan invited Catholic leaders to spend a day with ICE agents and see "why illegal immigration is not a victimless crime."
