GOP Rep. Dan Newhouse who voted to Impeach Trump, accounced retirement

GOP Rep. Dan Newhouse Who Voted to Impeach Trump Announces Retirement

Republican Rep. Dan Newhouse of Washington, one of the few GOP lawmakers who voted to impeach President Donald Trump, announced he will retire from Congress and not seek reelection in 2026.

Newhouse cited more than 25 years in public service.

The group included Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Peter Meijer, Tom Rice, Fred Upton, John Katko, Jaime Herrera-Beutler, and Anthony Gonzalez.

His claim to shame: One of Ten GOP Impeachment Votes. He never understood anything about January 6 and his blaming Trump was 100% wrong. Trump did offer National Guards to be there and his offer was refused by Pelosi and the Capitol Police.
