Comment Up

To date:

TRIOLO:    $38,975
JACQUES:  $ 2,070
ANTIEAU:   $ 2,125

MAXWELL:  $52,145.11
HARTMAN:  $  8,229

AMOROSO:  $35,940
MCALONAN: $16,097.10

Challengers TOTAL: $ 28,521.10

INCUMBENTS TOTAL: $127,060.11
or
the Incumbents have 81.67% of the total amount of monies received for all campaigns.

It is an extremely large and obscene amount of money being invested in our city to ensure that these incumbents stay in office. When you have so much outside interests giving big donations, we know that we are on the right track to right the wrongs and stand up to corruption by booting these incumbents out.

“I’m a worker and I know what a dollar is worth. I’d rather (campaign) with very little money and no lies...IT'S CORRPUTION," talking about the large amount of money to the Trio incumbents.
~ Gary Antieau

"The race isn’t a level playing field and has resembled a presidential campaign with the amount of money that has been raised. When that happens, you lose the heart and soul of what a municipal election and municipal candidates are supposed to represent, and that’s the community.”
~ Diane Jacques

“It’s mind-boggling [speaking about the money] for a position that only pays about $14,000 a year.
~ Frank McAlonan

This election has attracted Republican PAC money (we know who influenced that!) as well as the Unions and other big donors. I changed my Party a few months ago to Republican and now I am sorry to admit it. To influence our local elections to this degree, is corrupt. Scott Maxwell, Pam Triolo and Andy Amoroso very well know that this is a non-partisan election but these three are so engulfed in their own power, it doesn't faze them.

We don't want special interests getting a hold of our city and our beach park or our elected officials.

REJECT ALL INCUMBENTS TOMORROW.

I saw this in the paper this morning and it's shocking.

Kevin Thompson did not wait for the G3's to be turned in. They have raised an unheard of amount of money.
My blog is accurate as of today.

What did you expect. The developers want our city. They have ruined the other smaller cities around us so now they want to ruin ours. Hudson Holdings has a record of ruining cities. Look at the others that have donated a large some of money to the campaigns. They are in the pay to play game and they to want more money to go into their pockets by supporting the incumbents. They city will not be made better by the pay to play people who are supporting these 3. These 3 cannot account for half of the waste that has gone on in this city. Look at Bornstein, $10,000 raise. He is being paid to play. Where did our Hurricane fund go. They robbed it to make themselves look good.
The precious Casino has space that can't be used because of faulty construction. They paid them to play and look where it got us. This is just the beginning. DO NOT BELIEVE THE LIES THEY ARE TELLING YOU. THEY CANNOT BACK UP ANYTHING THEY ARE SAYING AND ARE JUST LYING TO YOU NOW SO THEY CAN GET RE-ELECTED. IT IS EASIER TO DISCREDIT THEIR OPPONENTS THAN IT IS TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE TRUTH.

Lynn why dont you take out all the funds from the "outside" and you will still see local Lake Worth people want the incumbents. Your candidates in truth raised very little money from the locals.

Local contributions are the same crowd we have seen for years behind the developers, Realtors, etc. Nothing new. Challengers have it much tougher. They have not been in office to network and get the connections but on top of that, they are not wheeler dealers. Also, what about some of the money behind these campaigns that is hidden? When you see a lot of locals giving $50 cash, I red-flag it. But that's me. I'm a cynic.

I am "SHOCKED".... just Shocked. That so many people think it is important to help out the incumbents. The door to door campaign of lies needs to be answered and the problem is, most of us supporters of the trio have to work for a living and don't have time to walk door to door countering all the misinformation.

Either way it turns out, after tomorrow we will have a better perspective on what lies ahead for Lake Worth. Stay tuned.

I just have to hope there isn't $127,000 worth of supporters for this Gang of Three. Where is the FBI? There must be a story behind all of this massive influx of money. It can't be because people like Maxwell. He is a hateful person. He even went to the Haitian church to lobby them for votes. I wonder if they got free hotdogs afterwards.

I have lived in this city since 1982 and have seen a lot of mismanagement of funds and some corruptions but I have never ever seen a campaign that has generated as much money as these three have and have never seen so much mud slinging, lying, undermining, despicable behavior as I have seen with these 3. I view the city meetings and their behavior is embarrassing. They are bound together by lies. I have also never seen corruption to this high level either.
It is obvious that it is a "pay to play" campaign and many have paid to play. Disgusting and deceitful behavior.

since the same people vote all the time---then go vote different--that is why lake worth reputation hasn't changed--because the majority of people hate the place--you can't drive without going over a pot hole and cost money to repair--the house that are called historical, give me a break most are dumps-that need bulldozing--homeless-rehabs-drug addicts--drunks--mentally ill-uneducated commission which at least two had to run because their business has failed, they need money---and all the dirty little secrets someday will be exposed----good luck and keep your fingers crossed its going to be a bumpy ride

those three are just as low as the cities reputation---thats why not to many run----run down and most that live here look as run down---what is it the sun or the drugs and booze----i wonder if scot has the answer

The boyfriend stealer, the fired Burger King worker and the "snow" queen. What a trio. We know how much is on top of the table ,how much is underneath? Maxwell will get a minimal fine for hiding his T report from the people. As Loretta Sharpe once said about her illegal behavior and subsequent fine "best money I ever spent".
