If you recall, the Town of Palm Beach and its Mayor at the lead, wanted to dredge gray offshore sand and dump it on the beach thus causing greater turbidity and sedimentation than would native beach sand, posing a big danger to the feeding practices of marine life, and would bury reefs as well as dirt sand moving down to Lake Worth's beach.
The city of Lake Worth joined in with the Surfriders Foundation and Snook Foundation to challenge Palm Beach's potential crime with their Reach 8 project. We finally got one right!
