Pelosi vs. Ocasio-Cortez

Pelosi dismisses young progressives--

Pelosi's remarks: “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world. But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got," said Pelosi in a New York Times interview. The remarks came after Reps. Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) voted against a Senate measure on border funding.

Ocasio-Cortez
voted against chamber’s bill to send $4.6 billion in emergency aid to the U.S. southern border

Ocasio-Cortez's response: "That public “whatever” is called public sentiment. And wielding the power to shift it is how we actually achieve meaningful change in this country...I don’t believe it was a good idea for Dems to blindly trust the Trump admin when so many kids have died in their custody. It’s a huge mistake."

Why does she get so much attention? She's just a junior congressperson. Like so many of our problems, we bring these things on ourselves. If the media would ignore her, (that includes you Lynn) she wouldn't exist.

@12:44--She may be a junior congresswoman but she has a big voice in the party. As long as the MSM continues to feature her, it will be mentioned here. She is a menace to our country.

I agree that she is a menace. But you have to admit, she is just a media creation. What other function does she serve. If the media would concern themselves with serious journalism, she wouldn't even exist.
