I can't believe this came so close to becoming a reality. You deserve some of the credit for this one, Lynn.

Misquoted by the press AGAIN ! Do they all have dicks for brains? What I said was " Owning a home is a very expensive investment and we can't just pick up and leave if our neighborhood turns into flop house row". !!!! The way Hardy and Robinson tried to fuc the single family homeowners over without their knowledge or consent should be illegal. More than half of this city is zoned for ADU's and accessory dwellings. How would those owners feel if they were made illegal ? Thanks to Pam,Andy and Scott for showing some regard and common sense for the people that have chosen to invest in Lake Worth with SINGLE FAMILY HOMES !!!!!! Katie Mcgiveron

Thanks, Katie...right on! The trio made the correct decision for the people of Lake Worth.

Comparing Miami Beach to Lake Worth Beach in favor of ADUs is a joke. Lake Worth Beach is already filled with affordable housing - Miami Beach is not. The median price for homes sold in Miami Beach is $346K. The median price for homes sold in Lake Worth Beach is $203K. Very thankful it did not pass this time but disappointed to hear they will consider it again in the future. Nothing in the future will change all of the reasons it failed this time. Drop it and move on to more important issues like focusing on Code Enforcement.

If they are going to push for this insanity again, I hope they will not get re elected.

Better the devil you. Their replacements will be far worse and will pass this kind of agenda.

Well, I think it's clear who is for it and who is against it. Now we have to make sure that the against commissioners stay against it, and not be swayed by influence peddlers.

I wish I voted for Cathy Turk. Too many people know about this and Hardy/Robinson now. And the ones that know are the ones that always vote. I don't think we have to worry about them getting re-elected, but how long is the rest of their terms? The ones that really need to worry are the residents where Hardy will run next! I'd like to see Hardy recalled or removed. I wonder what the rules are for that in Lake Worth Bch?

Hardy hasn't done anything to be recalled. This whole thing is a matter of being vigilant. When the LWB vote went down, the town was asleep. And, remember, Hardy voted against that, so he isn't all bad. In this case, I think he's misguided. He has time now to consider the error of his ways. He can always do a Mea Culpa!
