No Parking Dusk to Dawn
For over a year now, the ROLO neighborhood association has been trying to get this illegal parking around the perimeter of John Prince Park to end. It has taken numerous calls, numerous e-mails and interaction with the right people to finally have it all come to an end.
Now the park has installed more signs and PBSO is doing its duty. It is illegal to park your car after sunset and before dawn on this county property.
Prostitutes were hanging out in parked cars as well as vagrants at night. Some of the condos were using this as run-off parking for undesirable vehicles: 2nd cars, trucks, boat trailers or vehicles leaking oil, etc. We have seen rules relaxed out here even at our own clubhouse pool. Hours are ignored.
Yesterday it came to a screeching halt. This car was finally towed after being parked there since April of this year.
Illegals probably did vote
President-Elect Donald Trump tweeted that the illegal vote was in the millions, perhaps 2 to 3 million. What did the news media do? They belittled him; they chastised him; they told him that the outrageous allegation can't be proved. In other words, the biased news media went nuts. It's as if a bombshell hit them right between the eyes--they are still in shock that Trump won the election and in total denial that he won such liberal states as Virginia, New York, and California.
In California alone, (the kookiest and most liberal state in the country), its governor signed the bill into law in 2013 allowing illegals to obtain driver's licenses, further establishing California as a national leader on immigrant rights. The legislation was authored by Assemblyman Luis Alejo (D-Salinas), the son of farm workers. Illegals make up over 6% of that state's population with nearly 3 million living there.

distribution system, the City of Lake Worth Water Treatment Plant will
temporarily change the water chlorination methods
for two weeks from November 30, 2016 through December 18, 2016. The City of Lake Worth will also increase hydrant flushing during this time.
This is a preventive maintenance process.
Starting
November 30, 2016 a “free chlorine residual” water treatment
method will be used to provide a somewhat stronger disinfection process
than the “combined chlorine or Chloramines” treatment which is normally
used. The City of Lake Worth will revert back
to the “combined chlorine” method by December 18, 2016. As part
of this process, the City of Lake Worth will be flushing fire hydrants.
This flushing will cause temporary water in the swales of the
roadways. Please do not be alarmed by this water
as it will dissipate within a few hours.

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Fox News analyst K.T. McFarland as his deputy national security adviser, The New York Times reports.

Abandoned car on Lake Osborne finally cited
We have been trying for close to two years to end the flagrant disobedience of county laws in regards to vehicles parked on the side of Lake Osborne on county park property. We even asked the park, and they complied, to erect signs forbidding parking from dusk to dawn so that these vehicle owners would be familiar with the law but certain people just decided to ignore the signs. Finally, this car was cited after six months.
Inundated with vagrants, people living in their cars, a crime uptick and prostitution, enforcing this law will help our neighborhood.
This owner has 48 hours from the citation to move this vehicle off of county property or until 8am on November 26th or it will be towed.

"A small group of inappropriately attired individuals — i.e., lack of blazers, khaki pants, loafers — representing some group called The Fellow Travelers Community Action Group met in West Palm Beach and walked across the Southern Boulevard bridge on Saturday night.
These protesting pedestrians carried signs, including one that said “Revolt” in large red letters that lacked any artistic merit."
