Governor Rick Scott is promoting an end to human trafficking.
Governor Scott committed 3 million for safe houses and rehabilitative services in this year's budget to help victims of human trafficking. He added an additional $6 million to recruit volunteers. They will represent several thousand vulnerable children through court proceedings. $2 million was allotted to the PACE Center for Girls.
