Lake Worth Democratic Club Endorses Waterman and Golden

Comment Up
Message from the Club:

Attn Lake Worth Dems: Be sure to vote in the Municipal Elections on Tues, Nov. 8!

All LW Democrats are encouraged to vote for re-election of Rachel Waterman for Mayor and Jo-Ann Golden for Councilwoman.

Polls open 7 AM to 7 PM at your usual place - be sure to cast your ballot on Tuesday!Volunteers also are needed to help get out the Vote this weekend.

I knew there was a reason why I quit this club two years ago. In fact, Andy Amoroso is a Democrat. He was the only one who showed up to speak at the last Democratic Club meeting I was told.

Guess it is time to become an Independent.

Agreed Anon! I have been threatening to do that for a while now.

As I recall you left because some of the club members were supporting a republican for a local election. Shouldn't you be happy they are doing the right thing now?

In any case this was not an announcement from the Lake Worth Democratic club, but from Terry Rizzo and the county organization. The LW Dem club does not endorse in local elections, as you know. Please don't misrepresent things.

Sam, thanks for "recalling" my own memory for me. The truth is, I did not support Obama. That was the start of it. Next, I did not approve of major Parties involving themselves in our local non-partisan elections. That started with Maxwell and then he got Sid Dinerstein, head Republican honcho, doing a robo call for Democrat Rene Varela. Now the entire Party systems are entrenched in our local elections.

And--the Democratic Club stinks...has had no effective leadership in quite some time...people just parroting the Party line.

The local club follows the DEC to the letter. Who are you kidding there Sam?

Anonymous-Come to the club and see, don't be an expert at things you haven't seen. Or come and make them change!
