Town of Palm Beach wants to close down Mar-A-Lago

Palm Beach Mulls Closing Mar-a-Lago

Heavy congestion caused by the Secret Service's road closure in front of former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate could result in Palm Beach County officials seeking to shut the resort.

The road closure has raised concerns about traffic and security when the club reopens at the beginning of Palm Beach's social season this fall.

The Palm Beach Council on Tuesday directed town staff to research what might be able to be done about the July 20 road shutdown, which was implemented to protect Mar-a-Lago and Trump following the July 13 attempted assassination of the Republican presidential nominee, the Palm Beach Daily News reported.

Palm Beach is researching if and/or how to close down Mar-A-Lago.

Seems like the dumpstercrat mayor wants to blame the victim. I wonder if she would blame the pretty girl that got raped?

I've heard all sorts of stories about JFK when he was living at Mar-a-Lago.

Like heels up harris who puts out to move up in life, the great Babylonian prostitute selling her self and soul, so many in power do this, then say you are sexist for saying it, but they do it, go figure, sellouts!

I don't think JFK- ever lived in Mar-a-Lago. I don't see why they can't secure the place without inconveniencing the entire town. I used to feel bad for Allen Iverson's neighbors on the Main Line, but that's nothing compared to the problems Mar-a-Lago represents.
I never particularly cared for the building, but that's neither here nor there.

JFK lived on North Ocean Boulevard. The Town never gave the Kennedys any grief.

I saw that house once, but I can't remember what it looked like. It seems to me that it was more of a traditional type of house with other houses nearby. It that accurate?

Kennedy compound (that's what they called it) was huge. Just looked it up--Located on North Ocean Boulevard with 200 feet of ocean frontage, the approximately one-acre property has a 1920s Mediterranean-style main residence and outbuildings with a total of 15,347 square feet of living space, including 11 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and three half-bathrooms, according to a previous listing.
