What is fair?

“Before we ask what is fair for illegals, we must first ask what is fair to American families, students, taxpayers, and America’s job seekers

It’s about putting Americans first.” Former President Donald John Trump, 2020.

A federal judge recently declared that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program granting amnesty to illegal alien minors is unconstitutional, but refused to order that all DACA recipients be deported.

As reported by “Just the News,” U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen ruled that the Biden Administration’s attempts to codify DACA into law via federal regulation was illegal. But in his ruling, Hanen also rejected a request by Republican states to order an official end to the program. The Biden Administration is expected to appeal Judge Hanen’s ruling, with the dispute likely to reach the Supreme Court in the future.

One of the promises made during the 2016 Presidential Campaign was to take a centrist Democratic position when addressing, and developing a plan for comprehensive immigration reform. Since Obama circumvented The Congress, and issued the flawed and illegal DACA Executive Order, both sides of the aisle are still pointing fingers at which side of the aisle is responsible for failing to revise immigration, despite passing a long since expired deadline imposed by Trump.

The radical, orthodox extremists of the socialist liberal left continue to state their support for immigration reform, but only on their terms for approximately 800K Dreamers.

Everyday, we do nothing about anything. Problems pile up, and there is endless talk, endless discussion, and nothing is done about anything.

It's simply amazing to watch TV and hear about all of the nothing getting done about anything.

It doesn't even seem possible that so many people could get nothing done.

Endless numbers of bureaucrats, and no administrators.

My liberal cousin from Massachusetts just texted me about illegals being housed not too far from her house. She lives in an exclusive area. Very high home prices, very high taxes, very high cost of living. NOW, up to 150 people are being housed in a hotel very close to their town (right on the town line). NOW, she thinks they need to build a wall!!! Maybe Biden is actually doing something. He is turning more liberals into conservatives!!!!

Aside from the reported corruption, Biden should be impeached for his open border policy alone. Destroying our country. We have NO country unless we have borders.

Migrants are a problem in all of the developed countries. Read about what is going on in Italy right now.

They do seem to have a better plan for dealing with the situation than we do.

Keeping in mind that we are not going to send them back, and we are not going to keep them from coming here, (at least in the foreseeable future) we have to come up with a plan to get them off the streets, keep them from starving or freezing to death, and possibly take some pride in a solution.

Why not see what they are doing in Berlin, which is where many of the immigrants from Africa are sent after landing in Italy.

Or we can do nothing, and let the problem metastasize.

@12:58...we can CLOSE THE BORDERS. North and South. Just got a call from a friend in upstate New York and he says the problem is unreal. Why should this be our problem when Biden and the rest of the communists are allowing our country to be invaded?

Whether we close the border or not, and even if we do, we will argue about it for a few more years, we have the people who are here to contend with.

In addition, we have all the homeless, the drug addicts, the mentally ill, all living on the street, or in substandard conditions somewhere. This only contributes to more crime, more disease, more poverty, and even more homelessness.

Some barracks type of housing has to be constructed, somewhere. People have to be employed to maintain it, until the people who are living there can reclaim enough of their lives to run it themselves.

A Marshall Plan for the tired the poor and the huddled masses, because that's exactly what it looks like.

These problems don't solve themselves. Sitting around wringing your hands won't get a single person off the street, or an immigrant out of the country.
