Janitorial Services for the City of Lake Worth (Beach)
It may not have been a fair wage that was paid to an employee by Honor Cleaning, a janitorial service hired by Lake Worth, but every employee that is hired anywhere has the right to accept the wage and take the job or reject it and find other employment. Better yet, if one can't make it in a certain field, get some training and better skills to enable you to find higher wages.
If we are not retaining janitorial services in our city, we need to look at what we are paying them, not what they are paying their workers.
It is not our job to interfere in private enterprise and what they pay their hirelings. This also applies to Scott Maxwell's inquisition of General Dollar the other night when he asked them what their projected sales would be at the site of North A street and 10th Avenue North...really inappropriate and not his business.
So it just shows that intrusive meddlesome type questions happen on both sides of the political spectrum. It's not just a liberal socialist thing all of the time.

scott better go back to school.the question comes up about future moneys for the bank not the permit
First of all, I would rather have a janitorial company that we pay to do the job. From what I see when I go through the city, there is virtually no janitorial work going on at all. So whatever they are paid, it is too much. Train the people; do the job right; forget the blowers, and bring back the broom and mop, and I will pay a fair wage.
Secondly, the comment from 10:42, doesn't deserve to be printed, as this has nothing to do with the subject, and the person who posted it is a functional illiterate.
@11:46. I think it is a true observation. So, your name calling to make a point, doesn't.
If we can't keep a service, then we are not paying them enough for the job at hand. They never mentioned what we pay but the company has over-head. What is a fair amount to pay a janitorial service to take care of all our city owned facilities?
THIS ALL STARTED WHEN THESE CLOWNS FARMED EVERYTHING OUT.EVEN OUR POLICE.WHAT A FARCE
What's concerning, Lynn, is that you accept a one sentence, poorly constructed thought as a legitimate "true observation".
As long as people follow policy, they can form their sentences any way that they wish.
We're not all school teachers.
