U.S. views of China turn sharply negative amid trade tensions

Unfavorable opinions of China have reached a 14-year high in the United States, a new Pew Research Center report finds. Today, 60% of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of China, up from 47% in 2018 and at the highest level since the Center began asking about China’s public image on its surveys.
