Whether he was a 17 yr old that smoked pot, talked smack with his friends what ever.. that has really very little to do with the issue. This is not really a race issue. This is a case where we have a hyper-vigilant wanna be cop (with a record) who called 911 46 times in one year with a concealed weapon. It was a legal gun, but it is not the job of neighborhood watch to carry a weapon or follow people. 46 calls to 911. I would call that a symptom of imbalance. Regardless of his past or Treyvon's past, this kid was walking home unarmed and was followed for no reason other than he "looked suspicious" because he was black and had a hoodie. So ultimately who provoked who here? This is not about race its about an idiot with a gun. Its not about what this kid posted on Twitter, its about an idiot with a gun that was not arrested but they have no problem arresting someone who threw a bag of flour on a celebrity.

Gold teeth and tattoos at that age. Not a good example. Sooner or later he would have gotten into big trouble and killed. Young teens just don`t seem to have enough good examples and leadership.

Maybe it was racist, maybe not. We need to relax and see what the investigation comes up with.
“President Obama is acting stupidly by making remarks prematurely without knowing all the facts,” said Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder and president of Bond Action, a cultural action group that exists to education, motivate and rally Americans to greater involvement in the moral and political issues “that threaten our great country.”

If Stand Your Ground laws are so obviously flawed, then make that simple argument using facts and supportive evidence. In other words, focus on the truth, and not fallacious false equivocation anony @ 3:51. Facts in this case are changing by the minute. What you presumed to be "racist" may not be racist at all. Zimmerman was Hispanic by the way. It's a shame that everyone is jumping to a conclusion without all the evidence.

The problem here is guns. The obvious is being ignored once again in this country.
