Chamber and ACLU want E-Verify declared illegal for Illegal Aliens

We all know that big business controls a lot of U.S. policy. And we always have the ACLU putting its nose into everyone's business on what they believe are civil rights issues. But the Justice Department? How much farther to the bottom of the pit?

Soon we will find out if Mayor Rene Varela was correct when he said that the Arizona 1070 law was "unconstitutional."

The evil U.S. Chamber of Commerce -- with assistance from the U.S. Justice Department and the ACLU -- won the right to argue before the U.S. Supreme Court that Arizona (and any other state) should NOT be allowed to require businesses to use E-Verify to keep illegal aliens out of jobs.

The Court will decide this case in the next few weeks.

NumbersUSA filed an official amicus brief underlining why mandatory E-Verify is important to law-abiding business owners and vulnerable workers.
