Patsy Cline, born in 1932, was one heck of a singer. She could belt one out like “nobody” could. Born to a blacksmith and a seamstress and deserted by her father when she was 15, Virginia Patterson Hensley (Patsy Cline), dropped out of school to help support the family. She rose to stardom in 1957 and was dead 6 years later at the age of 30, dying in a plane crash. A short lived career of a woman whose voice lives on.The only singer with whom I could compare her voice with today would be LeAnn Rimes.
