Let’s just hope that newspapers survive. There is always, without a doubt, great articles and interesting news, current events and tales that “get you going.” If we don’t support them, it will all be Internet news and soon that will not be for free. It is much easier reading a newspaper than it is the Internet.
Take the photo and article in the Local section today. The three depicted have been right in our own City Hall in support of the illegal labor center, our own Shuffleboard Court that was hijacked. Do Gooders-- religious faith based citizens, protesting the fact that eight illegals (oh that’s right, they want us to call them ‘undocumented’ people) were caught entering our country ILLEGALLY, and these do gooders want them to stay here. They were upset that ICE was profiling.
These Guatemalen illegals had an option—fly home or jail. They weren’t stupid illegals—they flew home. Who paid for the eight tickets? Well, you know the answer to that. In another month or so we will see them back here on our soil. Why didn’t these do gooders pay for their flight tickets home...perhaps contacting The Mentoring Center for a few bucks? They seem to believe that it is the legal taxpayers responsibility to pick up the tab on all these illegals, for everything, not just airline tickets. They take no responsibility there. They just want to protest, shout and cry “intimidation of civil rights.”
