He says that, “I love America.” He has been here 12 years from Haiti, illegally, and just demonstrated in front of the Federal Building in West Palm Beach, one of the chanters demanding that they stay in our country. Why? Because they came here illegally to find work. Their immigration had nothing whatsoever to do with their “love of this country.”
These Haitians say that they don’t want to be forgotten by our government and they have to demonstrate. They have put aside our laws as meaningless and stick them in our face.
Personally, I have little to no sympathy for people who break our laws. If you want to come here legally, there is a process and you follow it. Eventually, you become a citizen. It does NOT take 12 years. With Cadet, there was no process and no desire to become a citizen…just a taker in the world’s most generous country. Try going to any other country illegally and demanding rights of which you do not have.
And what might just get my attention is to start waving the American flag.
