You had to be there this morning for the commission interviews. All these candidates were excellent in their own right. Our Commission has an awesome responsibility. We have failed twice now in the past, choosing a city manager that just could not find the correct solution and did not guide the Commission. We managed to get in more and more trouble through bad contracts and bad decisions.
Your guess is as good as mine at this point. I would never take the bet.
