How to get the Save Act passed

John Kennedy Just Disclosed the JD Vance Trick That Could Save the SAVE Act

John Kennedy stood on the Senate floor Wednesday and said seven words Chuck Schumer never wanted to hear.

“We can pass this bill with 50 votes.” And the move he just laid out could flip the entire SAVE Act fight before Democrats know what hit them. He’s talking about budget reconciliation – the same procedural weapon Democrats used in 2010 to ram through Obamacare after they lost their 60-vote Senate supermajority.

Here’s how it works. Budget reconciliation bills can’t be filibustered. They require only 51 votes – or 50 with JD Vance breaking the tie. Democrats used it to transform one-sixth of the American economy without a single Republican vote. Now Kennedy is asking why Republicans can’t use the exact same tool to require proof of citizenship to vote.

The SAVE America Act is simple: if you want to vote in a federal election, prove you’re a citizen. That’s it.

The House passed it in February. Every Senate Republican except Lisa Murkowski voted to advance debate this week. And Democrats are filibustering it like their lives depend on it – because their electoral survival does.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who spent years telling Americans that only citizens vote, is now leading the charge to block a bill that would simply verify that claim. He told reporters his caucus is “prepared for every possible scenario” to kill it. Not slow it down. Kill it.

Majority Leader John Thune controls 53 Republican seats. He needs 60 votes to break the filibuster. He doesn’t have them – and he’s said repeatedly he won’t blow up the filibuster rule to get there.

American citizenship is not a right to be handed out like candy—it is a sacred privilege, earned through loyalty to our Constitution, our values, and our way of life, says Brigitte Gabriel.

Yet far too many newly naturalized immigrants are treating it as a license to prey on the very communities that welcomed them. They swear the oath, then turn around and commit felonies that shatter lives, drain our resources, and erode the trust that holds America together.

Look at the evidence staring us in the face: the brutal attacks on a Michigan synagogue and a Virginia university, and the staggering fraud scandals that have ripped through states like Minnesota and California.

These are not random tragedies. These are the actions of “New Americans” who arrived here not to build, but to exploit, defraud, and destroy. They come to our shores with one goal—to take advantage of our generosity and then turn our own system against us. This is not immigration. This is infiltration.

Iran given a 2 day ultimatum

Trump Threatens to ‘Obliterate’ Iranian Power Plants if Strait of Hormuz Is Not Reopened Within 48 Hours

President Trump issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Iran on Saturday, warning that the United States would strike Iranian power plants if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened.

The threat marked a major escalation as tensions rose around the vital waterway that carries roughly one-fifth of the world’s crude oil.

President Trump delivered the warning in a Truth Social post on Saturday.

He wrote, “If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!”

Kent Resignation Letter Stunt

Former Trump deputy chief of staff says Joe Kent was about to be fired before resignation stunt over Iran

Joe Kent, a key deputy to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, posted a resignation letter on X on Tuesday declaring he could no longer serve in the administration. His stated reason: opposition to the "ongoing war in Iran."

Within hours, a former top White House official was publicly suggesting Kent didn't quit on principle. He was about to get shown the door.

Taylor Budowich, President Trump's former deputy chief of staff, wasted no time torching Kent's exit on X:
"Joe Kent is a crazed egomaniac who was often at the center of national security leaks, while rarely (never?) producing any actual work."

"He spent all of his time working to subvert the chain of command and undermine the President of the United States."

Budowich's conclusion was blunt:
"This isn't some principled resignation — he just wanted to make a splash before getting canned. What a loser."
The drama of posting your resignation letter on social media tells you everything about the intended audience. This was performance, not principle.

"Too Late" Jerome Powell should leave at end of Fed Term

Jerome Powell Doubles Down On Past Rate Mistakes

By Peter Navarro
March 19, 2026

In holding rates steady, Jerome Powell—the worst Fed Chair since Arthur Burns—has once again let his anti-Trump animus cloud his judgment. The damage will not show up only on Wall Street.

It will show up in the monthly payment on a starter home, the financing costs of a machine-tool purchase, the builder who delays a project, the manufacturer who shelves an expansion, and the family that watches its credit costs stay painfully high while the Powell Fed congratulates itself for being “disciplined.”

This is not just a spiteful and damaging policy mistake. It is a fundamental misreading of the economy.

Powell continues to act as if inflation is broad-based, demand-driven, and on the verge of reaccelerating. Powell has clearly signaled his intention to remain on the Board of Governors even after his term as Chair expires.

This is nothing more than a Powell extortion expedition for a “plea deal”—having possibly acted above the law, he is trying to evade any possible accountability by conditioning his departure on the Department of Justice dropping its probe of Powell.

The Iran "excursion" - When will it end?

US deploys thousands more for the war as Iran threatens world tourism sites

On one of the holiest days on the Islamic calendar, Iran fired on Israel and energy sites in neighboring Gulf Arab states, insisting that it can still build missiles and issuing a new threat, to deny safety to its enemies in “parks, recreational areas and tourist destinations” worldwide.

Israel meanwhile pounded Tehran with airstrikes as Iranians marked Nowruz, the Persian New Year.

The US military is deploying three more warships and roughly 2,500 more marines to the Middle East, where there’s no end to the war in sight despite three weeks of U.S. and Israeli air strikes that have decimated Iran’s military and leadership.

The Pentagon’s request for another $200 billion to fund the war would need congressional approval as the U.S. national debt hits a record $39 trillion.

U.S. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will stop attacking the gas field that Iranians depend on for most of their electricity at the request of U.S. President Donald Trump. Iran responded to Israel’s attack on the field by intensifying targeting of energy infrastructure in other Middle East countries, sending oil and gas prices soaring.

The death toll has risen to more than 1,300 people in Iran, more than 1,000 people in Lebanon, 15 in Israel and 13 U.S. military members in the region. Millions of people in Lebanon and Iran have been displaced.

Fetterman, The Stand-up Democrat

Fetterman says backing Trump on Iran has left him alone in the Democratic Party

Sen. John Fetterman went on Fox News Tuesday night and said what every honest observer already knows: Democrats have no principled reason to oppose what President Trump is doing with Iran. They're opposing it anyway.

Appearing on "Hannity," the Pennsylvania Democrat said he is "the only Democrat" fully supportive of the president's Iran campaign, which has included the operation known as Epic Fury. That support, he said, has come at a cost within his own caucus.
"I am the only Democrat like that is absolutely fully supportive of what the president has done, you know, with Epic Fury. And that's isolated me as — in my party."
Three weeks into the operation, Fetterman couldn't name a single Democratic colleague willing to publicly praise it. Not one.

The most damning part of Fetterman's argument wasn't his support for Trump. It was the contradiction he exposed in his own party. Every Democrat, he noted, has at some point declared that Iran must never be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon. Every recent president has said the same. None of them solved the problem.

Then one president actually dealt with it head on. And the party that spent years warning about the threat went silent.

This is the Democratic feedback loop in its purest form. Identify a danger. Demand action. Watch someone else take action. Refuse to support it because the wrong person acted. The principle was never the point. The politics were, as Breitbart reports.

The SAVE America Act of 2026 requires voters to provide documentary proof of US citizenship when registering to vote and imposes strict photo ID requirements for voting in federal elections.

The radical, progressive liberal left, the bootlicking dregs of the legacy, corporate mainstream media and hypocritical Democratic Socialists for example, argue that it creates unnecessary barriers that could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters.

Introduced in the House on January 3, 2025, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, or the SAVE Act was introduced for Congressional ratification. This bill requires individuals to provide documentary proof of US citizenship when registering to vote in federal in elections. Specifically, the bill prohibits states from accepting and processing an application to register to vote in a federal election unless the applicant presents documentary proof of US citizenship.

The bill specifies what documents are considered acceptable proof of US citizenship, such as identification that complies with the REAL ID Act of 2005 that indicates US citizenship. Lastly, the SAVE Act demands that individual states remove any ineligible persons from the voting rolls, such as illegal aliens and the deceased. [Harmeet Dhillon]

Why is that unacceptable to Democrats? They just want the ability to cheat.

Robert Mueller is Dead

Robert Mueller, Former Special Counsel Who Probed Trump, Dies

Robert S. Mueller III served as the FBI director between 2001 and 2013 and in 2016 pursued Donald J. Trump

Former FBI director Robert S. Mueller III died on March 20, according to a statement by his family. He was 81.

“With deep sadness, we are sharing the news that Bob passed away,” his family revealed in a statement on Saturday.

Mueller served as the FBI director between September 2001 and September 2013.

Most recently, Mueller served as special counsel in charge of investigating alleged ties between President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russia.

Mueller in 2019 reached an unambiguous conclusion in the final report on his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election:

Neither Trump nor any member of his campaign colluded with Russia.

Trump weighing strategy for Strait of Hormuz

President Donald Trump reportedly is weighing a strategy to counter Iran's chokehold on the Strait of Hormuz

This includes the possible seizure or blockade of Kharg Island, a key hub for Iran's oil exports

The move, detailed by Axios, underscores the administration's effort to restore stability to global energy markets after Tehran's actions sent oil prices above $100 a barrel and disrupted a key maritime route that carries roughly 20% of the world's oil supply.

Kharg Island, located just miles off Iran's coast, handles about 90% of the country's crude exports, making it a critical pressure point.

Administration officials say no final decision has been made, but options on the table range from a naval blockade to a full-scale operation involving U.S. troops.

Merchant Marine Act of 1920 (The Jones Act) in effect

Trump Just Unlocked Something Iran Never Expected Him to Use

The Jones Act

As of March 18, 2026, the Trump administration issued a 60-day waiver of the Jones Act. Obviously he believes the excursion with Iran will be over by then.

The waiver allows foreign-flagged vessels to transport vital resources—including oil, natural gas, fertilizer, and coal—between U.S. ports for a two-month period to ease supply chain disruptions.

Operation Epic Fury – the coordinated U.S.-Israel strikes launched February 28 that killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei – triggered the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps to mine the Strait of Hormuz and declare open season on any vessel attempting to pass.

The numbers are staggering. The strait carries roughly 21 million barrels of oil per day – one-fifth of global supply. Since the strikes, tanker traffic dropped from an average of 24 vessels per day to four on the first Sunday of the conflict. Three of those four were Iranian-flagged.

Brent crude has crossed $109 per barrel. Gas prices have surged 74 cents a gallon since the war began – the largest monthly increase since Katrina.

The European nations stonewalling Trump will face a reckoning when this is over.

Netanyahu on Iran

Netanyahu Says Iran No Longer Has Uranium Enrichment Capacity

Iran no longer has the capacity to enrich uranium or make ballistic missiles after 20 days of U.S.-Israeli air attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a news conference on Thursday.

"We are winning, and Iran is being decimated," Netanyahu said, noting that Iran's missile and drone arsenal is being massively degraded and will be destroyed.

"What we're destroying now are the factories that produce the components to make these missiles and to make the nuclear weapons that they're trying to produce," Netanyahu said.

While the war so far has been conducted via air attacks, Netanyahu said there has to be a ground component as well and "there are many possibilities for this ground component." He did not elaborate.

Netanyahu also denied he dragged the United States into the conflict. "Does anyone really think that someone can tell President Trump what to do?" he said.

The global fight over the Strait of Hormuz has triggered a familiar chorus claiming the United States had “no plan” for disruption to world energy markets.

But analysts argue that narrative ignores decades of contingency planning by the Pentagon and allied naval forces. The real vulnerability may lie elsewhere: the centuries-old insurance structure centered in Lloyd’s of London, which effectively determines which ships can sail and which routes remain commercially viable.

Control over maritime risk underwriting has quietly shaped global shipping for generations—making insurance power almost as decisive as military power.

Marines being sent to Mid-East

Pentagon Deploying a 2nd Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Middle East

In the past week, U.S. officials have confirmed two separate amphibious ready groups have been dispatched to the region amid ongoing fighting with Iran.

An additional force of U.S. warships and an attached Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) is set to deploy to the Middle East amid ongoing combat operations against Iran, The Epoch Times has learned.

The USS Boxer amphibious ready group (ARG) and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), currently based out of San Diego, California, are set to sail across the Indo-Pacific region to reach the waters of the Middle East, according to a U.S. military source familiar with the matter.

A combined ARG and MEU can consist of around 5,000 sailors and Marines. These additional troops would join around 50,000 U.S. troops already deployed to the Middle East as joint U.S. and Israeli military operations against Iran continue.

Thus far, no U.S. ground troops have entered combat with Iranian forces.

Deporting Fraudsters Act

House passes bill to deport illegal immigrants who commit welfare fraud as 186 Democrats vote no

20 Democrats voted YES with Republicans

The House passed the Deporting Fraudsters Act on Wednesday by a vote of 231-186, with 186 Democrats opposing a bill that would make welfare fraud an explicitly deportable offense for illegal immigrants. The measure would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to define fraud as grounds for removal from the country.

The math is simple. The principle is simpler. If you are in this country illegally and you steal from taxpayers, you should be deported. Nearly every House Democrat disagreed.

The legislation, sponsored by Rep. David Taylor of Ohio, targets illegal immigrants who defraud public benefits programs. Taylor framed it in terms that shouldn't require a floor debate at all.

It's a no-brainer — if an illegal alien defrauds the United States or steals benefits from our nation's most vulnerable, they should be permanently removed from our country.

Fraud in California - Gold Medalist speaks out

Gavin Newsom's Office Responds After Olympic Legend Speaks Out On Alleged California Fraud

Olympic bobsled gold medalist Kaillie Humphries is speaking out against California Governor Gavin Newsom following a controversial social media response to fraud allegations in the state.

The friction began after Newsom’s press office used an AI-generated image to mock an independent journalist (Nick Shirley) investigating financial misconduct. Humphries, a San Diego resident and legal immigrant, argued that such apathy from leadership is unacceptable with the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics approaching.

"As a California resident, I’m deeply concerned about the reports of alleged financial fraud and Governor Newsom’s apathy to it," Humphries told Fox News. She noted that the Olympics are a multi-billion dollar event that requires substantial governmental support to run correctly. Humphries warned that without transparency, the 2028 Games could face the same bribery and corruption scandals that have tainted past host cities.

Newsom’s office dismissed the athlete’s concerns, stating they do not typically respond to commentary from individuals not directly involved in the matter. A spokesperson claimed that under the Governor’s leadership, California is leading the nation in preventing fraud and waste.

However, critics point to the administration's use of snarky social media posts as evidence of a lack of serious accountability regarding taxpayer money. [ThinkAmericana]

The "Let's Get Him" Mueller War Room

Peter Strzok texted "We'll stop him" about Donald Trump while running the Russia investigation.

Now a second FBI agent has stepped forward – and what he saw inside Mueller's operation makes Strzok look like a footnote. This wasn't a sober investigation searching for truth.
  • Anti-Trump cartoons plastered the office walls.
  • Agents drank alcohol on the job.
  • And according to the whistleblower – an FBI agent assigned directly to Mueller's team – a single attitude drove every decision: "Let's get him."
The agent's account, first made during a December 2020 internal FBI interview, was kept buried until Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel this week.

Pennsylvania School Bus Driver Quits After Being Told to Remove MAGA Hat

State Senator Defends Decision

There are moments when standing your ground doesn’t look like much from the outside. No cameras, no crowds—just a quiet decision made when no one’s watching.

For decades, conservatives across this country have faced a familiar pressure: tone it down, keep it to yourself, don’t make waves. The message is always the same; your values are welcome, just not here. Not now, and not out loud.

In Littlestown, Pennsylvania, a retired police officer and now working as a school bus driver decided he was done playing that game.

Dave Bonhoff spent his mornings behind the wheel of a school bus, ferrying kids through the rural roads of Adams County. The children knew him as Mr. Dave. By all accounts, they had a good thing going, but when a student reportedly complained about the red hat Bonhoff wore—a hat bearing four simple words—everything changed.

His employer, Krise Transportation, relayed the message: the school district didn’t want him wearing his Make America Great Again hat anymore. His supervisor even offered to buy him an American flag hat as a compromise. You know, something less offensive than wanting your country to succeed.

Instead he said, "nope," and walked away from the job.

This isn’t some noble resignation—it’s a preemptive bailout.

Joe Kent didn’t walk away on principle. He saw the walls closing in. Reports of classified leaks, removal from intel briefings, and suddenly—boom—a dramatic exit wrapped in moral posturing.

Spare me. Under Donald Trump, national security isn’t a sandbox for freelancing bureaucrats. If Kent was leaking, he wasn’t dissenting—he was violating the trust placed in him at the highest level.

This looks like a classic move: get ahead of the story, spin the narrative, and hope the media runs interference before the facts land like a hammer. [Luthmann]

FBI Launches Probe Into Head of Counterterrorism Unit

FBI Investigation Allegations;

Semafor reported that Joe Kent, who recently resigned as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, is the subject of an FBI investigation into alleged leaks of classified information. The report says the probe began before his resignation. The investigation predates Kent’s departure.

An active FBI review of a senior counterterrorism official is a very serious matter. Leaks of classified material can harm operations and put lives at risk. We need clear answers about what was leaked, when, and whether the leaks crossed legal lines. Americans deserve transparency when national security is on the table.

Kent announced his resignation and blasted the U.S. response to Iran, saying Iran posed no imminent threat and that the war began because of pressure from Israel and its American supporters.

He framed his decision as a matter of conscience and cited his military service and personal loss to explain why he could not support the conflict. Those are explosive accusations.

If a top intelligence official believes policy is being driven by foreign influence, that claim must be investigated on its merits. At the same time, making public claims while holding classified responsibilities raises obvious concerns about judgment and protocol.

Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich reported that officials called Kent a known leaker and that he had been removed from President Donald Trump’s intelligence briefings months earlier. He has not been part of any Iran planning discussions or briefings at all.

NYC Mayor Mamdani Signs $1.9 Billion No-Bid Hotel Contract to House Homeless for Three Years

Let’s be honest about what’s happening to our cities. They were once beacons of American ambition, places where common sense and hard work were the currency of success.

Now, they are laboratories for a warped, progressive version of “compassion” that does nothing but create misery. This new ideology isn’t about solving problems. It’s about signaling virtue by burning through mountains of other people’s money.

This political playbook treats your tax dollars like Monopoly money in a game where the only goal is to buy loyalty. The most outlandish and expensive programs are hailed as the most “caring,” even as they fail spectacularly.

It’s a cynical racket designed to enrich a few politically connected insiders and hook a permanent class of citizens on government dependency. And right now, New York City is providing a masterclass in this very brand of self-destruction.

Let’s call this what it is: fiscal insanity. For a mind-boggling $1.9 billion (yes, that’s billion with a ‘B’), the Mamdani administration is renting hotel rooms. Just renting.

After three years of this firehose of cash, the city will own precisely nothing. Not a single building. Not one long-term asset. This isn’t a policy; it’s a straight-up wealth transfer from the taxpayers of New York to the hotel industry, and it does absolutely nothing to fix the underlying problem.

Law Rarely Used in Domestic Terrorism Cases Used to Convict Texas Antifa Members

The landmark case differentiates political activism from criminal activity and lays the groundwork for further prosecution, legal experts say.

The federal government this past week set legal precedent by applying a terrorism law—typically used against foreign terrorist organizations—to successfully prosecute a Texas Antifa cell for homegrown political violence. The March 13 mixed verdict is expected to deter terrorist groups such as Antifa and facilitate future prosecutions.

Eight defendants were convicted in the Fort Worth, Texas, trial of supporting terrorists, carrying explosives, and rioting.

Benjamin Song was the only defendant convicted of attempted murder and discharging a firearm during a violent crime. Prosecutors said Song fired 11 shots until his AR-style rifle jammed, hitting an officer in the neck who had responded to a 911 call.

The convictions were seen as a victory for the Trump administration and followed President Donald Trump’s executive order on Sept. 22, 2025, designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.

The case received national attention as it was the first time members of Antifa, short for anti-fascist, were charged with terrorism-related offenses, despite their involvement in protests that have sometimes turned violent.

I would note that Trump’s unexpected attacks against Venezuela and Iran have added to his own personal version of the “madman theory.”

Nobody knows what Trump will do in the near future. Nicolás Maduro thought so little of President Trump that he mocked him with a little dance. He’s probably not dancing in his cell in the Metropolitan Detention Center this morning.

Last October, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei sneered that Trump’s speech to the Knesset was “empty words” and “buffoonery.” The ayatollah could not be reached for comment, nor could his son.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio called Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani. The message was unambiguous: the Iraqi government must take all possible measures to safeguard U.S. diplomatic personnel and facilities.

Sudani's response was a masterpiece of deliberate nothing.

His office put out a statement affirming Iraq's "commitment to protecting diplomatic missions" – and conspicuously failed to mention Iran, the militias, or the 300-plus drone and missile attacks that have hammered U.S. positions and Kurdish civilians since Operation Epic Fury began on February 28.

The Popular Mobilization Forces – the umbrella network of Iran-backed militias running the attacks – are "paid and armed by the Iraqi government."

Mad Man James Carville

James Carville Finally Admitted He Has No Idea What He Is Talking About

Carville Predicted Kamala Harris Would Win and Called It Certain

In 2009, Carville published a book promising Democrats would dominate American politics for 40 More Years: How the Democrats Will Rule the Next Generation. Republicans held the House four elections later. Donald Trump won the White House twice. The book is now a punchline.

Then came October 2024 – just weeks before Election Day – when Carville penned an op-ed in The New York Times titled "Three Reasons I'm Certain Kamala Harris Will Win." His certainty lasted until Election Night. Harris lost by millions of votes, and Trump carried every swing state.

Carville later called the op-ed the "worst answer ever given" in politics. When Carville appeared on Stephen A. Smith's Politics War Room podcast shortly after, Smith told him directly that he admired him – but that he seemed "crazy half the time."

That's the most accurate political analysis Carville has been associated with in years.

Legal Immigration - The Number Democrats Don't Want You to See

Will Cain Just Said What Nobody in Washington Will Admit About Legal Immigration

Democrats spent years telling you the border was the only immigration problem worth fixing.

Now a Fox News host just blew that argument apart with one number.

Will Cain put the data on the screen and said out loud what politicians in both parties have been too afraid to touch – and what he revealed changes the entire immigration conversation. More than half of all households headed by legal immigrants – people Washington politicians assured you were carefully screened and self-sufficient – are drawing federal welfare benefits.

Fifty-two percent. That's the figure Cain cited on The Will Cain Show, and it tracks directly with data from the Center for Immigration Studies' 2024 analysis. Legal immigrant households use welfare at a rate that outpaces American-born households by thirteen points.

The federal government spends roughly $1 trillion a year on welfare programs. States pile another $300 billion on top just for Medicaid. Every legal immigrant household drawing benefits pulls from the same pool your grandchildren will be paying off.

Ilhan's Conflict of Interest

A New Report Ties Ilhan Omar to a $33 Million Clinic Her Sister Ran When She Secured State Funding for It

Ilhan Omar just directed millions of taxpayer dollars to a health clinic while her sister was running it.

Now a new Breitbart investigation has connected that clinic to a web of family members, foreign governments, and a supposed ex-husband Omar swore under oath she couldn't locate.

The one question Democrats don't want anyone asking is why she claimed to have no conflict of interest.

Omar's Sister Was CEO When the State Money Arrived. Omar's older sister, Sahra Noor, served as CEO of People's Center Clinics & Services in Minneapolis from July 2014 through April 2018 – a nonprofit in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood that has collected $33 million in HHS grants since 2002.

In January 2017, Omar took her seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives. That same year, the state capital budget included $2.2 million for People's Center.

Omar later boasted publicly about securing that funding and celebrated the clinic's 2022 renovations alongside Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and other Minnesota Democrats.

New York City's Homeless problem

Homeless in New York City

The numbers are brutal. The state comptroller’s office says New York City shelled out about $81,000 per unsheltered homeless person last year. That’s cash going into a system that still leaves people on the streets.

“NYC spent roughly $81K per person on homeless services last year: comptroller”

That per-person figure lines up with a total bill in the hundreds of millions. Spending on the Department of Homeless Services’ Street Homeless Solutions division has more than tripled since 2019. The unsheltered population went up too. More money. Worse results.

Think about that. You could hand someone a life-changing check with that kind of cash. Instead, tens of thousands of dollars are funneled through programs, contracts, bureaucracies, and vendors. The outcome? Folks still living on sidewalks.

Budget projections show the city may spend nearly $97,000 per street homeless person this year to fund Mamdani's expanded outreach and housing efforts.

This smells like an industry. And not a healthy one. When solving the problem creates steady jobs and big contracts, the incentives get twisted. Officials pat themselves on the back for big budgets. But the street count barely budges. It rises.

US economic freedom surges in biggest annual increase in over two decades.

Heritage Foundation credits Trump administration's deregulatory and tax reforms for reversing 5-year decline

• The index, which tracks economic policy developments and conditions around the globe since the second half of 2024, shows that America made the biggest gains in economic freedom the country has seen since 2001.

• “With decisive action and pragmatic policies that have served as a necessary corrective to the failed experiment of ‘Bidenomics,’ President Trump has set the initial stage for America’s comeback and path forward for greater economic dynamism,” said Anthony Kim, research fellow and editor of the Index of Economic Freedom.

Restoring a pipeline system vital to our national security and defense

Trump Administration Invokes Defense Production Act to Restart Offshore Oil Operations in California

Energy Secretary Chris Wright on Friday directed Sable Offshore Corp. to restore operations at the Santa Ynez Unit and the Santa Ynez Pipeline System off the coast of Santa Barbara, invoking the Defense Production Act to force the restart of shuttered offshore oil production in a state that has spent decades trying to kill it.

The order marks a direct challenge to California's anti-energy regulatory regime and sets up an inevitable legal collision with Gov. Gavin Newsom, who wasted no time calling the move "reckless and illegal."

According to Fox Business, the Department of Energy laid out the national security rationale in blunt terms:
"California once supplied nearly 40 percent of U.S. oil production, but decades of radical state policies targeting reliable energy sources have driven a decline in domestic output while fuel demand remains among the highest in the nation."
Today, more than 60 percent of the oil refined in California comes from overseas, with a significant share traveling through the Strait of Hormuz. That is not an energy policy. That is a vulnerability.

A state that once supplied nearly 40 percent of American oil production now cannot fuel itself without routing tankers through waters patrolled by the Iranian navy.

Cuba Is Negotiating Deal With US, Trump Says

‘I would think a deal would be made very easily with Cuba,’ Trump said.

Speaking at his Shield of the Americas gathering of Latin American leaders in Miami, Trump said Cuba is “at the end of the line” because Venezuela cut off oil deliveries after the U.S. capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.

“As we achieve a historic transformation in Venezuela, we’re also looking forward to the great change that will soon be coming to Cuba,” Trump said. “They have no money. They have no oil. They have a bad philosophy. They have a bad regime that’s been bad for a long time.”

The president said Cuba is currently negotiating with himself, Rubio, and “some others.” Cuban leader Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez responded to Trump at the time by saying on X that his nation was “ready to defend the Homeland to the last drop of blood.”

1965 Immigration Act Created Chain Migration

Congressman Andy Ogles

United States' broken Immigration system

Democrats passed the Hart-Celler Act in 1965 and promised it would change nothing.

They were lying – or they had no idea what they were doing.

Either way, sixty years later, a congressman from Tennessee just introduced the bill to finally fix it.

Rep. Andy Ogles of the House Freedom Caucus dropped legislation this week that would rip out the foundation of America's broken immigration system – the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, known as the Hart-Celler Act.

The bill would end chain migration, scrap the diversity visa lottery, and replace the entire family-reunification racket with a merit-based system built around one standard: "All immigration to the United States shall serve the economic, cultural, and security interests of the United States."

That's it.

Duke University Staff overwhelmingly donate to Democrats

Duke University employees Gave $1.6M to Democrats

This one hits hard. New FEC filings and a Campus Reform analysis show Duke University employees funneled the vast majority of their political donations to Democrats during the 2026 cycle.

Numbers matter. They donated $1,620,859.80 — about 97.46% — to Democratic-aligned candidates and committees. By contrast, only $42,259.08, or 2.54%, went to Republicans.

“Employee donations to federal candidates and campaign committees in the 2026 midterm cycle confirm the overwhelmingly liberal makeup of Duke University.”

That’s a huge gap. The report calls it out straight: “The dollar gap between the two totals stands at $1,578,600.72, meaning that Duke-affiliated donors gave roughly 38 times more money to Democratic candidates and committees than to Republican ones.”

ActBlue took the biggest slice. “The largest share of Duke-affiliated employee donations flowed to Democratic committees and progressive PACs.

Sharia Law is contrary to our Constitution

Sharia Law an existential threat to American values and our Constitution

Why can't the Left acknowledge that?

Mike Johnson calls Sharia law imposition a 'serious problem' as House GOP sharpens focus on constitutional conflict

Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters at House Republicans' annual policy retreat in Miami that the push to impose Sharia law in America is a genuine constitutional threat, steering a controversy over Rep. Andy Ogles' blunt social media post toward a broader and more substantive debate about assimilation and the rule of law.

Ogles posted on X that "Muslims don't belong in American society," a statement that drew immediate fire from Democrats and forced Johnson to address the matter publicly.

The Speaker didn't echo the language. But he didn't run from the underlying issue, either.
"There's a lot of energy in the country and a lot of popular sentiment that the demand to impose Sharia law in America is a serious problem." "When you seek to come to a country and not assimilate, but to impose Sharia law — Sharia law is in conflict with the U.S. Constitution. That is the conflict that people are talking about."
Johnson added that the imposition of Sharia law "is contrary to the U.S. Constitution." That distinction matters. And the Speaker made sure to draw it clearly.

Debate over election integrity has returned to the center of American politics with renewed urgency.

Supporters of the proposed Save America Act argue that clear national standards—such as proof of citizenship, voter identification, and paper ballots—are essential to restoring confidence in the democratic process.

Advocates say public trust in elections eroded sharply after the controversies surrounding the 2020 United States presidential election, and that confidence must be rebuilt through transparent procedures that apply consistently nationwide.

The argument is simple: representative government cannot function if citizens doubt the legitimacy of the vote itself. [Luthmann]

Passing The Save America Act Is Indispensable To Preserve Representative Democracy.

Biden Autopen Pardons Were the Presidential Scandal of the Decade and DOJ Just Let It Die

Bondi Betrays Trump Again With Autopen Announcement That Hands Democrats the Win Trump Needed Most

Joe Biden's mental decline was the open secret everyone in official Washington refused to admit publicly until his 2024 debate performance made it undeniable.

The only question was how his aides running the country from the shadows ever thought they’d get away with it.

Now it seems the whole time they must have been counting on the DOJ betrayal Pam Bondi's prosecutors just shocked Washington with in the Biden autopen case.

The House Oversight Committee spent months building the case. Fourteen depositions. Forty-seven hours of testimony. A report documenting how Biden's inner circle – Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal, and Dr. Kevin O'Connor – exercised presidential power while Biden declined behind closed doors.

All three aides pleaded the Fifth Amendment rather than answer a single question under oath. And Pam Bondi's DOJ just shrugged.

CBS News confirmed that prosecutors in Jeanine Pirro's DC US Attorney's office dropped the criminal probe because they "were never able to find a legal hook" to pursue the matter. The New York Times called it the latest sign that DOJ could not convert Trump's demands into prosecutions.

That's not a legal problem. That's a failure of will.

San Jose State Covered-up having a biological man on the Women's volleyball team

SJSU Sued the Federal Government Over a Male Athlete on the Women’s Team and Linda McMahon Just Hit Back Hard

San Jose State University hid a biological male on the women's volleyball team for two years and told nobody.

Now the school got caught violating title X– and instead of apologizing to the women they betrayed, they sued the federal government.

Linda McMahon just gave them ten days to reconsider that decision before the consequences become permanent. This isn't a story about athletic policy. It's a story about what happened to real women who never consented to any of it.

Starting in 2022, SJSU coaches reportedly instructed staff not to tell female players that Blaire Fleming – a biological male – was on their team.

Female athletes shared locker rooms and hotel rooms with Fleming without knowing. And the absolute worst thing was when former team co-captain Brooke Slusser found out she had been sharing a bed with Fleming while believing her teammate was a woman.

“Enforcement action may include the initiation of an administrative process set forth in 20 U.S.C. § 1681,et seq.et seq.to suspend, terminate, or refuse to grant or to continue Federal funding — or other means authorized by law, including referral to the Department of Justice. This letter does not constitute final agency action.” They have 10 days to change their mind or lose $300 million in federal funds.

Cubans ransack, set fire at Communist Party headquarters

'The people do not want continuity, they want LIBERTY'

Protesters ransacked and set fire outside a local Communist Party headquarters in Morón, Cuba early Saturday morning, videos posted to social media show.

Citizens of the north-central Cuban city protested rampant blackouts as well as energy and food shortages under the leadership of communist President Miguel Díaz-Canel. Protestors threw rocks at a government building's windows and set its furniture ablaze in the street amid chants of, "Liberty!"

Reuters reported. Authorities stated they arrested five participants of an anti-communist demonstration as state-run media reported an investigation into "vandalism acts" was launched, according to The Associated Press (AP).

In a video, a crowd of people appears to loudly cheer and make noise with percussive instruments as a large fire burns outside the headquarters's entrance.

Hiding a Toxic Agenda

Politicians hiding their true politics

If you’re anything like me, you’re sick and tired of the political games. I want to know what a candidate truly believes, not what a focus group in a D.C. basement tells them to say.

People are tired of slick politicians who change their colors to match the drapes, offering vague platitudes instead of concrete principles. We want candidates who will stand for something, even when it’s unpopular in Washington.

But what happens when a party’s brand is so awful they have to pretend it doesn’t exist? What happens when they realize the only way to get elected is to hide who they truly are?

A disturbing new trend in America’s heartland reveals a calculated plot to deceive voters on a massive scale, and they’re hoping you’re not paying attention.

it’s a rebranding of the same old liberal machine. They are putting a fresh coat of paint on a rotten structure, hoping voters will be fooled.

You have to ask yourself: why are they so desperate to hide? The answer is simple. The national Democratic platform is fundamentally at odds with the values of Americans.

Stop attacking your neighbors, says Hamas

Even terrorists in Hamas think Iran's attacks on neighbors go too far

Islamic regime has unleashed missiles at Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia

The radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas urged Iran to stop attacking its neighbor in the Persian Gulf in a Saturday statement.

Iran responded to the U.S. military's Operation Epic Fury by firing hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones at targets in Israel, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.

The seemingly indiscriminate retaliation prompted the terrorist group, which has been backed by the Iranian regime, to express "deep concern" about the conflict in its first such appeal to the regime.

it calls on its brothers in Iran not to target neighboring countries. It also calls on all countries in the region to cooperate to stop this aggression and preserve the bonds of brotherhood among them."

With Operation Epic Fury burning through resources and no clear end date in sight, senior House Republicans are coalescing around a hard-nosed conclusion: Democrats will not fund this war.

That means Congress may need to fight it alone, through a second budget reconciliation bill that bypasses the Senate filibuster and delivers the military spending America's armed forces actually need.

The discussions are live, the timeline is tight, and the political logic is straightforward. Republicans did it once. Democrats did it twice. Now, with U.S. forces engaged in a shooting war alongside Israel against Iran, the question isn't whether more defense funding is coming. House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington says it's "inevitable."

The question is how to get there before Democrats can block it. [AmericanTribune]

Democrat prosecutor puts blame on 2nd Amendment supporters

Norfolk DA backed by Soros PACs blames pro-gun lawmakers after ISIS supporter shoots up Old Dominion University

A convicted ISIS supporter opened fire on the campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, on Thursday morning, killing one person and injuring two others before being killed himself.

Within hours, the local prosecutor used the attack to lecture the country about gun control, directing blame not at the terrorist but at lawmakers who support the Second Amendment.

The shooter was previously sentenced in 2017 for attempting to provide material support to ISIS. He appears to have been released by the Federal Bureau of Prisons in late 2024, during the Biden administration.

Commonwealth's Attorney Ramin Fatehi who is a Democrat of Iranian heritage, walked up to the podium at a post-shooting press conference unprovoked and delivered a prepared indictment of American gun culture. He did this while a confirmed act of Islamic terrorism was still being processed by federal investigators.

The backlash was immediate and savage.

US strikes strategic island as Iran war enters its third week

U.S. forces struck more than 90 targets on Iran’s Kharg Island on Friday, U.S. Central Command said in a post on X on Saturday, the 15th day of the conflict.

The small coral island about 21 miles off Iran’s coast is the primary terminal through which nearly all of Iran’s oil exports pass.

The post, which included a video montage, noted that strikes hit military targets, like “naval mine storage facilities, missile storage bunkers,” while also “preserving the oil infrastructure.”

A Friday post by President Donald Trump on Truth Social similarly said “for reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island,” but that the decision would be reconsidered if transit through the Strait of Hormuz continues to be threatened.

Democrats Turned the Epstein Investigation Into an Anti-Trump Operation

Democrats Spent Years Building an Epstein Case Against Trump and the Accountant Just Torched It

Five witnesses under oath have now cleared Donald Trump of any involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, and the Democrats who turned this investigation into a political weapon have nothing to show for it.

Richard Kahn Controlled Epstein's Finances for 15 Years. Richard Kahn wasn't some casual acquaintance of Jeffrey Epstein. He was the architect of Epstein's financial empire for over a decade – managing investments, overseeing renovations on the private Caribbean island, tracking gifts, authorizing payments to victims.

When Epstein died in 2019, Kahn became co-executor of an estate initially valued at $650 million. He knew where the money came from. He knew where the money went.

And on Wednesday, March 11, under oath before the House Oversight Committee, he said he never saw a single transaction from Epstein to Donald Trump or anyone in Trump's family.

DHS Funding fails in Senate

Democrats Vote Down DHS Funding as Terror Attacks Strike

Republicans got the majority vote of 51 but 60 was needed to pass

On Thursday the Senate failed to advance a House-passed bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security.

The motion to proceed lost 51 to 46. It needed 60 votes to move forward. Centrist Senator John Fetterman joined Republicans in support, but he was the only Democrat to do so. This marks the fourth time Democrats have blocked Homeland Security funding since February 12. Meanwhile key agencies like the TSA and others remain hampered by the funding gap.

Why Democrats Said No:
Senate Democrats explained their no votes by pointing to provisions that fund Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection. They demanded reforms after a recent incident in Minneapolis where agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens. Democrats argue these agencies need accountability and changes before getting more money.
Why Republicans Said Yes:
Republicans say funding must continue now to protect the homeland. That disagreement is the crux of the impasse.
When lawmakers play politics while threats are real, Americans pay the price. Senators can push for reforms and still keep core security functions running.

The U.S. strikes on Iran's Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf targeted military sites but left its oil infrastructure alone for now, Trump said in a social media post. But he warned that if Iran or anyone else interferes with the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, he will reconsider his decision not to "wipe out the Oil Infrastructure."

Italian American Civil Rights League’s Florida Chapter Honors Man of the Year

By: Richard Luthmann

Italian Americans built America. They built businesses, neighborhoods, churches, and families rooted in faith and discipline. Yet our political influence rarely receives attention.

Roger Stone’s recognition by the Italian American Civil Rights League proves the community still commands respect. Stone’s message was simple: freedom requires courage and loyalty. Italian Americans understand that lesson.

Our grandparents fought for opportunity and dignity. Today, a new generation carries that tradition forward. The launch of the South Florida chapter shows the movement is growing. Heritage matters.

Faith matters. Family matters. And if the packed room at Casa Calabria proved anything, it’s that Italian Americans are ready to defend those values again.

Roger Stone took the podium as the night’s distinguished guest of honor, and his remarks electrified the room. He reminded us that we are living through a consequential moment in American history.

“What we see today unfolding is a fight between good and evil, between dark and light, between the godly and the godless,” Stone declared.

His message was clear and urgent: the battles being waged in politics are fundamentally about preserving our freedoms and values from those who would undermine them. Stone praised Italian Americans as some of the nation’s most patriotic citizens, even though their political influence is rarely discussed openly.

The 8th Circuit Just Killed Biden's SAVE Plan for Good - Finally

Courts Just Killed Biden’s Student Loan Scheme and Saved Taxpayers Half a Trillion Dollars

Joe Biden spent four years trying to make you pay off someone else's college debt.

Now a federal appeals court has buried his biggest attempt – permanently.

Here's what Biden promised 7 million borrowers that he had no legal right to promise. Biden Built This Student Loan Forgiveness Scheme the Day After the Supreme Court Said No.

Biden's SAVE plan wasn't a new idea. It was a workaround. In June 2023, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that Biden couldn't cancel $430 billion in student debt. The ruling was clear: only Congress has that power. Biden announced the SAVE plan ten days later.

Instead of canceling debt in one shot, SAVE slashed monthly payments to as low as $0, covered all unpaid interest so balances never grew, and put borrowers on track for full forgiveness in as little as ten years.

The Penn Wharton Budget Model put the price tag at $475 billion. That's $475 billion shifted from borrowers who voluntarily took out loans – many of them graduate students with high earning potential – onto the backs of 87 percent of American adults who have no student loan debt at all.

Mines in Strait of Hormuz

US Officials: Iran Laying Mines in Strait of Hormuz

Iran has begun laying naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz, the critical Persian Gulf channel that carries about 20% of the world's oil, according to U.S. officials, raising concerns about global shipping and energy supplies.

U.S. intelligence indicates Iran started deploying the mines Thursday using small boats after the U.S. military destroyed larger Iranian naval vessels capable of quickly laying mines in the narrow waterway, a U.S. official briefed on the intelligence said, according to The New York Times on Friday.

In his first public remarks since the war began, Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, said in a written statement Thursday (no one knows whether he's alive or dead) that "the lever of blocking the Strait of Hormuz must continue to be used."

U.S. officials said the latest mining effort is slower and less efficient than using larger vessels, but Iran appears to be attempting to lay mines faster than U.S. forces can clear them, in hopes of deterring ships from entering the strait.

Canadian Police Investigating Gunfire At US Consulate In Toronto

Canadian authorities are investigating after gunfire struck the U.S. Consulate in Toronto early Tuesday morning, prompting a security response but leaving no injuries reported.

Police say the incident occurred shortly before 5:30 a.m. when officers responded to reports of gunshots near the downtown consulate building. Investigators later confirmed evidence that a firearm had been discharged toward the facility. No Injuries Reported.

Authorities said no consulate staff or members of the public were injured, and there were no immediate reports of significant damage to the building.

The U.S. State Department and Canadian officials are coordinating on the investigation.

The incident follows several recent cases of gunfire targeting buildings in the Toronto area, including places of worship. Police have not indicated any connection between those incidents and the shooting at the consulate.

The suspect vehicle in the shooting has been found and police on Thursday said that it was stolen.
