Fetterman says backing Trump on Iran has left him alone in the Democratic Party
Sen. John Fetterman went on Fox News Tuesday night and said what every honest observer already knows: Democrats have no principled reason to oppose what President Trump is doing with Iran. They're opposing it anyway.Appearing on "Hannity," the Pennsylvania Democrat said he is "the only Democrat" fully supportive of the president's Iran campaign, which has included the operation known as Epic Fury. That support, he said, has come at a cost within his own caucus.
"I am the only Democrat like that is absolutely fully supportive of what the president has done, you know, with Epic Fury. And that's isolated me as — in my party."Three weeks into the operation, Fetterman couldn't name a single Democratic colleague willing to publicly praise it. Not one.
The most damning part of Fetterman's argument wasn't his support for Trump. It was the contradiction he exposed in his own party. Every Democrat, he noted, has at some point declared that Iran must never be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon. Every recent president has said the same. None of them solved the problem.

Then one president actually dealt with it head on. And the party that spent years warning about the threat went silent.
This is the Democratic feedback loop in its purest form. Identify a danger. Demand action. Watch someone else take action. Refuse to support it because the wrong person acted. The principle was never the point. The politics were, as Breitbart reports.
