Heritage Foundation credits Trump administration's deregulatory and tax reforms for reversing 5-year decline
• The index, which tracks economic policy developments and conditions around the globe since the second half of 2024, shows that America made the biggest gains in economic freedom the country has seen since 2001.
• “With decisive action and pragmatic policies that have served as a necessary corrective to the failed experiment of ‘Bidenomics,’ President Trump has set the initial stage for America’s comeback and path forward for greater economic dynamism,” said Anthony Kim, research fellow and editor of the Index of Economic Freedom.
