A shocking incident occurred in Manhattan when a man urinating on a car allegedly slashed the throat of a 66-year-old passerby who told him to stop, according to the New York Daily News. The victim, along with two other witnesses, complained about the man’s conduct, which led to an argument and the suspect slashing the passerby’s throat.The New York City Police Department reported that the victim suffered a “severe laceration” and was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The other two witnesses did not sustain injuries during the altercation.
In 2016, (under De Blasio) the New York City Council passed a law easing its criminal laws against public urination due to concerns that too many minorities were getting arrested. I would suppose they never considered in their liberal biased BS opinion that those committing the most crimes WERE minorities and are to this day.
While police still have the ability to arrest people under the reform, the city council encourages officers to hand out civil summons instead. First-time offenders face fines ranging from $25 to $250, and those unable to pay the fine are offered the option of doing community service.

It opened in 1943 on Broadway. The movie came out in 1955 starring Gordon MacRae and Shirley Jones. There must be a few of us around who remember the movie.

This Republican Went to Vote in New Hampshire; She Was Handed a Democrat Ballot
Ms. Cory was a registered Republican, but at her primary polling place, she was handed a Democratic ballot and then told she couldn’t change her registration.Soutisa Cory intended to vote for former President Donald Trump when she entered her ward’s polling place in Rochester, New Hampshire, on Jan. 23.
It was also her oldest son’s first time voting, she told The Epoch Times.
Ms. Cory had filled in the Republican primary ballot in 2022 to vote for her boyfriend, New Hampshire state Rep. Mike Belcher.
Because she hadn’t flipped to undeclared right after voting that year, by default, Ms. Cory became a registered Republican. That meant she should have received the GOP presidential primary ballot on Jan. 23.
Instead of them making a phone call, they directed her to the city clerk's office that proved she was a registered Republican.

US Supreme Court Undermines American Sovereignty
Last time I checked, there was a security barrier around the US Supreme Court. I guess it all comes down to “rules for thee, but not for me.”
By: Allen WestAs you all are probably aware, the US Supreme Court decided 5-4 to allow the federal government to take down the border concertina wire placed by the State of Texas. Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Amy Coney-Barrett joined with leftist Justices Sotomayor, Hagan, and Brown-Jackson asserting that the federal government could force, and remove, the wire.
**In essence, what the highest court in the land decided was that if the federal government abdicated its prescribed and enumerated constitutional duty and responsibility, States have no recourse.
This is, first, a complete violation of the concept of “Federalism.” Secondly, it establishes a very dangerous precedent. In essence declaring the federal government does not have to abide by the rule of law, the US Constitution.
The five justices who voted in this manner did not interpret the law. I wonder how many of them have visited the southern border?

He was taken to Wellington Regional Hospital for treatment and then to the county jail. During his first appearance Sunday, he was ordered released on his own recognizance with arraignment set for 9:45 a.m. Feb. 23.
