Trump Preparing 'Massive' China Trade War
On Saturday, The Washington Post reported that sources close to former President Donald Trump suggest the real estate tycoon is contemplating significant new economic measures against China, should he win reelection.These strategies, which include potentially revoking China's "most favored nation" trade status and imposing high tariffs, are expected to escalate tensions between the world's leading economies, potentially triggering a global trade conflict.
While Trump has publicly endorsed imposing a 10% tariff on nearly all $3 trillion in annual imports, including those from China, private discussions have reportedly broached the idea of a 60% tariff on Chinese goods.
The 60% claim has not been verified with the Trump campaign.

That type of inflammatory language is responsible for much of the unrest in the world.
Trump is not as old as Biden, but he is still an old man, and when old men talk like that it makes them seem crazy, not wise.
We just aren't that big a deal in the world anymore. Nobody cares what we want. But one thing that this country can agree on, is that nobody wants a war with China.

Concentrate on Biden's failed policies--
He circumvented the Supreme Court on student loan forgiveness.
He made us more dependent on Russian uranium
He failed to police antisemitism on the left
He allowed a Chinese spy balloon to violate U.S. airspace for a whole damn week!
He allowed Iran to attack U.S. forces with impunity
He allowed the worst border crisis in U.S. history get even worse.
He blocked allies from giving Ukraine a clear path to NATO membership.
He continued to slow-roll weapons to Ukraine.
He announced he is running for reelection. Biden is the most unpopular president since the end of World War II.
One thing has nothing to do with the other. I am not contemplating making a choice between the two candidates. I am making a case for détente.
Why all this bluster about what you are going to do to China. China can eat our lunch. Are you in some kind of a hurry to go to war with China. Let's try to mend fences. Let's have a coherent Foreign Policy, an effective Border Policy.

What is Biden doing in the detente department? Anything at all? We have had 160 drone strikes against our troops over the last two months...3 just died and two others died a week ago.
