Chinese Hackers compromised Treasury

China Hacked Treasury Dept. in ‘Major’ Breach

Chinese state-sponsored hackers breached the U.S. Treasury Department’s computer security guardrails this month and stole documents in what Treasury called a “major incident,” according to a letter to lawmakers that Treasury officials provided to Reuters on Monday.

The hackers compromised third-party cybersecurity service provider BeyondTrust and were able to access unclassified documents, the letter said.

According to the letter, hackers “gained access to a key used by the vendor to secure a cloud-based service used to remotely provide technical support for Treasury Departmental Offices (DO) end users.

With access to the stolen key, the threat actor was able to override the service’s security, remotely access certain Treasury DO user workstations, and access certain unclassified documents maintained by those users.”

With just 21 days left in office, the Biden administration is set to announce an additional $1.25 billion in military aid to Ukraine, according to the Associated Press, citing U.S. officials.

The upcoming aid is designated through presidential drawdown authority, enabling the Pentagon to expedite weapon transfers.

This constitutional provision bars individuals who have "engaged in insurrection" or provided "aid or comfort to the enemies" from holding public office, although this restriction can be lifted through a two-thirds vote in both houses of Congress.

Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung characterized the suggestion as an attempt to "steal the election and invalidate the will of the American people." Eric Trump expressed his disapproval directly, calling the individuals involved "sick."

Carroll faces two charges of forcible rape and one of "dissuading a witness from testifying."

"After his first cellmate became pregnant and was moved to [a male-only facility in] Los Angeles, two other cellmates of his had complained that he had raped them, so we have filed rape charges against this inmate," Madera County District Attorney Sally Moreno told ABC30.

Federal Judge Aileen Cannon ruled Monday that the trial for 58-year-old Ryan Routh would begin on September 8, 2025, instead of the originally scheduled February 10. Routh is facing multiple charges including the attempted assassination of a presidential candidate.

He also faces charges of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, assaulting a federal officer, felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

Trump is still poking Democrats, this time by suggesting he will restore Mount McKinley to its "original" name.

In 2015, in a nod to locals, then-President Barack Obama, pandering to Alaskan native Americans, changed the name of the mountain to Denali.

Since 1917, the largest mountain in the country, located in south-central Alaska, had been known as Mount McKinley. The mountain had been named after President William McKinley, who was assassinated during his second term. McKinley was shot by Leon Czolgosz on September 6, 1901. He passed away eight days later, with Teddy Roosevelt, one of our grestest presidents, taking over the presidency.

The Koyukon are the natives that inhabited the land in that area, referred to the mountain as Denali for hundreds of years. However, in 1896, a prospector referred to the mountain as Mount McKinley, with the name being formally changed in 1917.

Lake Worth Beach to Demolish north Water Tower

"A LONGTIME LANDMARK on the north end of Lake Worth Beach is about to disappear.

The old water tower rising 110 feet above the southeast corner of 22nd Avenue North and North D Street will be dismantled on Jan. 6, ending a 78-year run of providing both water and a reference point for residents.

Built in 1946 and topped with a 300,000 gallon tank, the tower has been out of commission since August 2023 because of adverse effects on water quality, said Vaughn Baker, the city's water utilities director. Corrosion is causing the tank’s wind rods to fall apart, she said.

The city has no plans to use it again and can rely on its other water tower, built in 1991 next to Interstate 95 near Sixth Avenue South.

To save on maintenance costs and eliminate a potential safety hazard, officials decided to remove the north tower and make the footprint space available for other public uses. The land is part of the city’s Northwest Park."

The Daily Mail reported: "Andrey Kaprin, who heads the Radiology Medical Research Center of the Ministry of Health, said the shot will launch in early 2025, according to state-run media.

The vaccine will apparently be used to treat cancer patients, rather than being given to the general public to prevent tumors from forming in the first place.

Previous comments by Russian government scientists suggest each shot is personalized for the individual patient, which is similar to cancer vaccines being developed in the West.

It is currently not clear which cancers the vaccine is designed to treat, how effective it is or how Russia plans to roll it out. The name of the vaccine has not been revealed.

Personalized cancer vaccines are designed to teach the immune system how to recognize and attack proteins specific to that patient's cancer. To do this, vaccines use genetic material called RNA from a patient's own tumor.

Earlier in the week, Trump had killed Johnson's first spending bill, a bloated 1,500-page compromise with Democrats that sparked ire from the right while raising doubts about Johnson's future. Trump urged Johnson to get a better deal, which Trump said must include a suspension of the debt limit.

The final deal passed 366-34 and funds the government until March, with $100 billion in disaster aid for hurricane victims and $10 billion for farmers. While smaller than Johnson's original bill, it does not include the debt limit suspension that Trump wanted.

The Biden administration, in what can only be described as a final “Hail Mary” to enforce its radical climate agenda, has weaponized the EPA to approve California’s infamous gas car sales ban.

This last-minute maneuver is conveniently timed just before President-elect Trump takes office, ensuring maximum chaos for the incoming administration and everyday Americans.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) granted California two waivers under the Clean Air Act, allowing the state to phase out gas-powered car sales by 2035. Of course, this affects far more than California.

Thanks to California’s self-appointed role as the de facto ruler of U.S. emissions policies, the other 17 states that blindly follow its lead—and effectively the entire country—are being dragged into this electrified dystopia.

This sweeping mandate doesn’t just target California; it will force automakers nationwide to cater to these rules since no car manufacturer can afford to design vehicles for just one state.

Al Sharpton rages over Vance inviting Daniel Penny to the football game

Reverend Al Sharpton raged over Penny being a guest of Vance at the Army-Navy during a segment on MSNBC.

“It is amazing to me that you would have someone that choked to death an unarmed man who had mental problems and act as though he’s some kind of hero,” Sharpton ranted. “The clear message is that you are now giving legitimacy to vigilanteism, and it could make others feel that they can take the law into their own hand.”

Sharpton played the only card he knew, the race card.

“He’ll make this guy, whose only claim to fame is that he choked to death an unarmed man with mental issues,” Sharpton raved. “It ought to be insult to all Americans beyond race. If the race was the other way around, would the reaction be the same? I think Donald Trump is clearly sending a racial signal here. I think a lot of those that have fell in line are comfortable with that. That’s frightening.”

Penny was acquitted by a jury of his peers in Manhattan because they didn’t fall victim to Sharpton’s hysteria.

A bombshell report by the House Administration Oversight Subcommittee recommended Liz Cheney face criminal prosecution for allegedly tampering with January 6 Committee witness Cassidy Hutchinson.

“This secret communication with a witness is improper and likely violates 18 U.S.C. 1512. Such action is outside the due functioning of the legislative process and therefore not protected by the Speech and Debate clause,” the report stated.

Hutchinson falsely testified that Trump attacked a Secret Service driver and attempted to seize control of his vehicle after his protection detail refused to take him to the Capitol following his rally speech.
