Inspector general covered it up, report says
"Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight says top members of Jan. 6 Select Committee should face investigation.The Pentagon dismissed an order from President Donald J. Trump to use the National Guard to ensure safety on Jan. 6, intentionally delayed Guard deployment for hours, lied about it to congressional leaders, and used its own inspector general to cover it all up, a U.S. House report concludes.
After a two-year investigation, the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight put the blame for failure to get National Guard troops to the U.S. Capitol on former Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy, two Pentagon Army generals, and Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller."
I have to wonder why investigations take so damn long. Here is the reason:

Kash Patel wants to investigate the US Capitol police officers who helped defend the Capitol Building on January, which is good. They need to go to jail for election interference.
@1:48...He wants to see if any FBI plants were in the crowd to rile them up--opening the gates and allowing them into the Capitol...to see if they were a big part and possible cause of the "insurrection" that really wasn't an insurrection in order to bring down Trump. It was a Capitol policeman who killed Ashli Babbit.
