South Texas sheriff dismisses VP’s claim that ‘the border is secure’
During an interview this past weekend with NBC host Chuck Todd, Vice President Kamala Harris declared that “the border is secure.”Her words didn’t go over well with one South Texas sheriff, however, and he was quick to shut down Harris’ claim by citing some stark facts.
“The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed,” the vice president insisted.
Everyone in the world knows that the border is open. Why do they insist on lying about this? A whopping 4.9 million illegal immigrants have crossed our border since Biden has taken office, a report from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) found.
FAIR president Dan Stein also criticized the Biden Administration, saying “The endless flow of illegal aliens and the incursion of lethal narcotics pouring across our border will not end until this administration demonstrates a willingness to enforce our laws.”
