With World on Brink of Energy Crisis Biden May Issue This Order Shutting Down Energy Development

"With Americans facing rising heating bills this winter and the world in the grips of Russia’s control of natural gas, President Joe Biden is considering a ban on energy development on hundreds of thousands of acres of Colorado lands.

Activists are pressuring Biden to issue an Executive Order essentially imposing as law a failed radical bill, called the “CORE Act,” which locks away hundreds of thousands of acres of Colorado land from human use, including needed energy development.

The bill has repeatedly failed to pass in Congress, pushing liberals to demand Biden simply impose it by executive force.

Critics point out Biden may time the order to coincide with November’s election to benefit land snatch supporter Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) and spur liberal activist groups to turn out votes for him."
