Syria Pull-out
President Trump’s abrupt troop pullout from Syria appears to involve a land swap between Syria and Turkey to give Kurds protection and autonomy
"Not only is our work there done, but I believe we were on the wrong side of the fight to begin with. Is it any mystery that Barack Hussein backed the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad by ISIS?That’s right, we were on the side of ISIS in Syria. While Hussein’s shameful pretense and empty rhetoric regarding his fake war on ISIS was one large, transparent lie, his real war to overthrow Assad, a secular leader with a long reputation of protecting large populations of Jews and Christians (surely counter to the Obama agenda), was engineered to allow a radical, fundamentalist regime (ISIS) to fill the power vacuum." [Powdered Wig]
Further, Thomas Madison believes that Trump assured Erdogan that if Turkey didn't leave the Kurds alone, they would pay a dear price. He believes territory is being carved out for Kurdish autonomy. Probably not an independent Kurdistan, but at least autonomy in their historical homelands. All still secret, we will soon know, but the President does not do anything in the conventional way. AND, he always said he was getting out of Syria.

This is rather ironic when you think about country music fans--they are primarily religious and their heart remains with tradition and values.
Religion still important to most people
Religion is important to 72% in U.S., including 51% "very important." But you probably would not find that poll in liberal Lake Worth to stand unless you were worshiping Islam or something. We actually have a proclamation for Islam. Don't even think about asking a feminist.
"When Gallup first asked Americans to rate the importance of religion in their lives in 1952, 75% said it was very important and 20% fairly important. Those percentages were roughly the same when the question was next asked, in 1965, but by 1978, they had dropped to 52% very important and 32% fairly important." That was under Democrat Jimmy Carter, the president who allowed home brewing of beer.
Since then, the percentage identifying religion as very important has fluctuated, rising above 61% in only two single readings: 64% in 2001 after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and 65% one year later. The historical low single reading of 49% was recorded in May 2015."
You notice the historical low was under Democrat Obama.

Trump called Pelosi's bluff
Nancy Pelosi Dared Trump To Do The One Thing She Thought He Would Never Do
Did you ever see a more ridiculous meeting in the oval office in your life?It threw Pelosi and Schumer off guard when cameras were there recording the "event." Chuckie could not even look at the president, someone for whom he constantly shows so much venum. And Pelosi was caught on camera being really out of touch saying that the president did not have the votes in the House. She was insistently rude to the Commander in Chief who is the most important person on the planet. Didn't their mommies and daddies teach them any manners?
Well, America got to see them in action. Their attitude will not bode well for Democrats.

“There is no rule against Airmen bringing personal items to be signed by the president. It is not uncommon for presidents to visit with troops, nor is it uncommon for the troops to shake hands with their commander-in-chief, take photos with him or have him sign things for them."

President Trump in Iraq
Air Force One touched down at the Al Asad Air Base west of Baghdad after an overnight flight from Washington with first lady Melania Trump, a small group of aides and Secret Service agents, and a pool of reporters. He stayed for a little more than three hours.
Lynn Epstein on Facebook
"So the media, lead by CNN is trying to get the troops busted for having MAGA hats signed by Trump and Melania when they went to visit the troops the day after Christmas. Apparently, to the media, this is a big military violation that should result in severe punishment for any member of the military who dared ask Trump and/or Melania to sign their MAGA hats.
Yet these same media hacks, including CNN didn’t utter a word, or have a problem when Obama and Michael (aka Michelle) signed pictures of themselves when the Obama’s visited overseas troops in Iraq and Afghanistan."

Air Force: Nothing improper in Trump autographing caps
Air Force: Nothing improper about airmen displaying pro-Trump merchandise at Ramstein
The liberal weenies, always looking for something to bitch about, along with the fake news media, were all caught with egg on their faces as they gleefully reported that President Trump was the first president not to visit the troops over Christmas. As everyone knows, President Trump arrived in Iraq in the middle of the night to give his appreciation to our troops, plans that were in the works for weeks. Melania was the first FLOTUS ever to visit a war zone, something else not reported by the Fake News. The President then traveled to Germany to visit our troops.
Instead of apologizing for their false reporting, CNN and others, as if on cue, lit an expected spectacle of disparaging the troops who wanted autographs from the President saying it was illegal for them to engage in politics.

President Trump to attend the World Economic Forum
President Trump plans on going to Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum on January 22-25, 2019.
"Davos Man" is a neologism referring to the global elite of wealthy (predominantly) men, whose members view themselves as completely "international." [Wikipedia]
"Globalization is a phenomenon driven by technology and the movement of ideas, people, and goods. Globalism is an ideology that prioritizes the neoliberal global order over national interests. Nobody can deny that we are living in a globalized world. But whether all of our policies should be “globalist” is highly debatable," says the World Economic Forum's web page.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that the president was looking forward to attending the gathering of world leaders and business executives.
“The President welcomes opportunities to advance his America First agenda with world leaders,” Ms. Sanders said. “At this year’s World Economic Forum, the president looks forward to promoting his policies to strengthen American businesses, American industries and American workers.”
Whereas the World Economic forum is "committed to improving the State of the World," President Trump's presence should be an interesting encounter for all the elites who will be attending considering President Trump's attitude of Draining the Swamp and America First.

The Wall is going forward
This morning there was a blurb in the Palm Beach Post written by the Associated Press regarding President Trump's border wall. SLSCO won the two contracts with the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers for projects in the Rio Grande Valley.
Yesterday, the President said, “I am in the Oval Office & just gave out a 115-mile long contract for another large section of the Wall in Texas. We are already building and renovating many miles of Wall, some complete. Democrats must end Shutdown and finish funding. Billions of Dollars, & lives, will be saved!”

There is much to do in the coming days and weeks regarding organization, personnel, etc. and of course, fundraising. There will be a website and Facebook page set up soon and I will certainly announce their arrival when ready. Stay tuned.
I face three good men in Herman Robinson, William Joseph and Tommy Copeland. I wish them well in their campaigns and look forward to spirited debate in the months to come.

Thanks…Richard.

Rasmussen:"Nancy Pelosi is poised to become the most powerful Democrat in Washington, D.C., but voters prefer that President Trump lead the way.
When given a choice between the two, 46% of Likely U.S. Voters think Trump should set the direction of the country for the next two years. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 31% believe that job should go to Pelosi who is expected to be the speaker of the incoming Democrat-controlled House of Representatives.
Nearly one-out-of-five voters (18%) say neither one should set the direction of the country in the near future." (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Purple Heart recipient Brian Kolfage who lives right here in our great state of Florida, who lost three limbs, started a GoFundMe page to raise money from the grassroots who know how important it is to have a wall at our southern border. So far he has raised over $15 million.“Democrats are going to stall this project by every means possible and play political games to ensure President Trump doesn’t get his victor. They’d rather see President Trump fail, than see America succeed. However, if we can fund a large portion of this wall, it will jumpstart things and will be less money Trump has to secure from our politicians,” he said.

David Hogg says he's been accepted at Harvard
Hogg’s GPA is 4.2. His SAT score is 1270, which puts him in the 88th percentile. Those are both solid credentials for admission to most state schools.
BUT, he's been accepted at Harvard, the oldest and most prestigious university in the United States that has become one of the most liberal universities in the country.
The acceptance rate at Harvard is 5.2% . For every 100 applicants, only 5.2 are admitted. The average GPA is 4.1. The average SAT score is 1520. The average ACT score is 34.
In most cases, Hogg would have a tiny chance of getting accepted at Harvard as his SAT score was well below average. In a simplistic estimate of acceptance based on Hogg's SAT and GPA, he would, under normal circumstances, have a 0.5% chance of admittance. [PrepScholar.com]

The Cold Moon
The Moon is huge! Run out there and take a peek.
"The Cold Moon of December was sometimes also referred to as the Long Night Moon by some Native American tribes. During December, the winter nights are at their longest and darkest, giving the Cold Moon its other common name. The term Long Night Moon is a doubly appropriate name because the midwinter night is indeed long, and because the Moon is above the horizon for a long time. The midwinter full Moon has a high trajectory across the sky because it is opposite a low Sun." [FullMoonPhases]
