We used to have a quiet neighborhood. Not any more. Crimes are becoming common place out here. We constantly have the idiot speeding down Lake Osborne Drive killing any animal that doesn't get out of his way. Once that car reaches the speed bumps at Murry Hills, they are forced to go the speed limit of 30mph.

I never see a cop. We have been told that there is no speeding problem down Lake Osborne. No joke. What is considered a problem? Every ten minutes, every hour, every day? What? Only when a cop sees it happening?
Why not promote the PBSO Citizens on Pattol (COP) program? Once trained the COP volunteers get to cruise around in a marked PBSO vehicle and if ROLO really wanted to control the speeders then concerned citizens could enroll in this program and literally sit on Lake Osborne Dr or any city street and the mere presence of a marked car will slow down the traffic and reduce the crime. I'm signing up, but I don't live in ROLO, so I'll be hovering around east of Dixie once I finish my training. Eyes and ears for the po po, yea baby, we can take back the streets!
Where are the cops, I can go weeks without ever seeing a cop car or a cop on patrol. What are we paying for???
I'm sorry ,but to hell with the COP program. Why should CITIZEN VOLUNTEERS have to patrol our neighborhoods when the CITIZENS are already paying over a million a month here in Lake Worth to PBSO to,oh ,I don't know, PATROL OUR GOD DAMNED NEIGHBORHOODS ????? If a COP volunteer gets shot and killed while on patrol or doing the job the real cops should be doing, does their family get the benefits a dead cop's family automatically gets? Do they get a big, fat pension if they volunteer long enough? Look, what's next, the citizen volunteer heart surgeon program? Or better yet, why not let citizens volunteer to start to do the jobs that our public works is not doing, like filling in Pot Holes? Hell, why don't we fire everybody ,including the Mayor and Commissioners, and just have a volunteer town. Things certainly wouldn't be any worse than they are now.
