That being said, I have no problem with all weapon buyers having to be background checked... We need to close the loopholes with private sales, and require all sales to be checked.

Universal background checks are a far cry from presidential confiscation of all weapons. This same battle cry went out when he was elected. But it served it's purpose: guns and ammo sales up through the roof. So everyone is happy and the gun industry laughs all the way to the bank. Poor much maligned guys.
