Theyre prob tryin to dig up something to say they cant possibly afford to honor all pre 2010 people and sorry but you wasted your years working for us. =)
just keeps getting pushed further and further back. Its a great stalling technique... just like them being late to EVERY negotiation. Something sounds fishy!
JULY????? 2 months away????? This is ridiculous, good ole LW. Twist the knife deeper why don't ya
I have worked here for 7 years and this 4% raise is the first raise I have seen and it equals out to less than $100 more dollars a month before taxes are taken out. So tell me are they really showing any care for us? The cty mangr got over $10,000 a year raise. Its time to ship out of here.
keep on pushing it further and further back. meanwhile all the employees are hanging around in limbo for their future
no wonder our city cant hold on to employees! You get what you pay for. why work for lake worth? Give one solid reason. Low pay? Horrible Pension? so why?
yOU employees need to stop bitching.
People are so sad around here. I myself am not an employee but I do sympathize for what they are going through. For the anonymous person @ 7:17: If you want to call out the employees for "bitching" dont be a coward and put your name on the post. Have a pleasant evening.
@ the end of the day the city will just say tough luck and deal with it. And no one will ever see this town for more than a stepping stone onto a real job somewhere else.
I will guarantee you that everyone who has left the city on their own terms or terminated because they did not agree with CM direction have gone on to higher paid, better benefits and bigger business with the proper respect due a good employee. Change Mgmt and Commission and maybe you will get good steady hard working employees instead of travelers that are just stopping by.
