The Quiet Joys of John Prince Park

Comment Up
Hanging out and Fishing at John Prince Park

As local officials and residents debate the merits of constructing a $100 million spring training facility at John Prince Park for the Atlanta Braves, the county park in question churns on, a freewheeling city unto itself.

and lets not forget the rapes by the homeless on a under age girl--this homeless man now in jail--who use to hang out in bryant park

At least he was arrested. How about all of the rapes of underage girls in Lake Worth. I know of 3. The park patrols their areas. The rapist of the 3 that I know of still has not been caught.

No what they were saying is that the park i snot the idyllic fantasy land you all suddenly make it out to be. It's dirty, nasty and dangerous. So i guess since you got your butts handed to you in the last election, the gulfstream restoration is happening and the majority commission will eventually fix the issues at the beach, this is your new dead horse to beat.

I fail to understand how a rape in Bryant Park has anything to do with John Prince Park. Disconnected logic.

@3:03--
WHAT Gulfstream restoration? I haven't seen HH do one damn thing.
WHAT issues at the beach? The contractor already has agreed to fix the issues at the casino. Now all we need is someone in this city to do their job and lease the upstairs. The city will soon be out of excuses for bad management here.
WHAT dead horse? John Prince Park and major league baseball is not a "done deal" yet.

The baseball facility in JPP is a crime. It won't bring money to the area. Why sacrifice the park to make the city commissioners & braves richer?
